Double Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Good evening , hope you had a lovely weekend and made the most of the glorious weather - it's lovely isn't it - bit chilly in the evenings though.
I decided to have a go at the "distressed" look again and am a little happier than my last attempt but not quite got there yet I don't think!!
A little more practice I feel is in order, it seems like forever when I am scraping my little pink pacman lookalike distress thingy across the edge of the paper and I get covered in all this paper fluff!
Over at Cupcake Craft Challenge it is distressing this week ( I have tried - honest!) and over at Allsorts Challenge they would like to see snowflakes so I have entered my card for both of these.
There are lots of beautiful cards on both blogs do pop over and take a peek.
Would love to stay and waffle but lots to do!

Stamp with Us Challenge

Hullo, Hullo,
This is my 2nd post of the day please scroll down for my earlier one I wouldn't want you to miss it!
Here is the inspiration that we had to use for the Stamp With Us challenge, such beautiful fresh bright colours and they do actually work together.
I have used green galore, pink passion, tempting turquoise and only orange SU card stock along with the Cheers to you set and circle and circle scallop punches.

I had an idea in my head for this one and was rather pleased how it turned out even though very simple, I hope you like!

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Hullo, Hullo,
Another Crimbo card I am afraid - I just tend to keep picking out christmas stamps at the moment, not a bad thing I suppose as it will be here before you know it!
I have followed the great sketch that Marlene has done over at the Sugar Bowl I have used SU retired papers, a manga christmas stamp, elzybells background stamp and my new martha stewart snowflake.
There is lots of sparkle on this card from the glamour dust on the little girl and red sparkly gel dots (papermania) I have tried to do a couple of arty shots ( I did say try!!) but alas still do not think you can see me sparkle!
Here goes

Did you see any?

Nope! thought not!
I really need tips on my photography, if you have any please let me know - thanks x
A couple of you have commented on my Graffiti evening - where do i start!
Whilst I was doing my last post I mentioned no 3 was moaning as he now wanted it on his wall, well no sooner had I finished my last post he came down with a smile on his face and said No 2 had kindly done him a small one above his desk - obviously I did the chat and said I had told him to wait to see how Ryan's had turned out and then thought oh it's only a small one, I mean it is only a SMALL one above his desk - WRONG!!!!!!!!!!
Heres the desk
Not so little huh!!!

I had to take this from an angle as I couldn't fit it all inWell there you go that's what my little darlings got up to and this was the small one above the desk!!

I hate to think what Ryan's will turn out like!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

Hullo,Hullo,
I fancied a sketch and my chosen one was the fab Penny Black Saturday Challenge lots of very talented ladies over there I must say - worth a lookie!!
As you can see I have gone a bit snowflake crazy, a bit like pringles once you pop you just can't stop ! or in my case once I punched my first snowflake they just kept coming!!
The stampset is Penny Black - in a pear tree, I wasn't too keen on this at first but now I love it. Sad thing is it's on loan so I do need to stamp as many as humanly possible before it is returned safely!!
My papers are Bo Bunny - Tis the season, I really really love these the colours are great and you will need the whole collection as they are all fab!
The little sentiment is part of a SU stamp set.
Sorry it's a quickie post only No 2 son is grafitti mad and we have finally given in to him putting his name on his bedroom wall! He is upstairs designing at the moment so I do need to keep an eye just incase he decides we would like one on our bedroom wall - not!!!!!
As you can probably guess N0 3 son is now creating as he wants to do the same.................
Waaaaaaagggggghhhhh!!!!
Hope your enjoying your evening as much as me! LOL x

A Selection for you!

Cooeeeeee!

Hullo, Hullo,
Yes I know another tri fold, but I did warn you they are my newbie card design - for me anyway!!
This was for the lovely Paula that celebrated her 40th on Tuesday and I also made a matching wallet

I also had another birthday card to make for the lovely Heidi who happened to share the same birthday as Paula.
Can you guess what I made her ?
Ok you guessed

Another Tri fold card!!!
I promise that will be it for a while, I will most probably still be making them but maybe postpone posting them - I don't want to be losing me blog buddies ! lol x
On a sadder note I also had to make a sympathy card for my neighbour who's husband passed away - always a sad occasion and he was such a lovely chap. :(
I kept this very simple

Sorry about the bad quality of the photo it was a very pale yellow, the stamp is a hero arts dandelion stamp.

Hope you like what I been up to and may pop back tomorrow if you lucky with a crimbo card!Toodle pop!

No 2 Tri fold card!

Hullo, Hullo,
I said I would be back and here I am with my second attempt, I definitely prefer this one not so busy and I love the colour combination - Barely Banana and Bashful Blue SU papers.
The gorgeous little bear is an Elzybell stamp and I stamped twice on Kraft card and bashful blue so I could paper piece the dress and bow and added sparkle with Yellow stickles. The flowers are also dotted with stickles but I am not sure you can see in the photo.
This is a birthday card for the talented Mrs Wonka do pop by and wish her a Happy Birthday!!
Here is a close up of the Cutie Patootie Elzybell bear

Isn't she cute! looks just like me when I wear a frock and if you know me you will know I never wear one purely because this is just how I would look slightly round and no legs, I missed out in the leg department I ended up with little stumps if only I could add a couple of inches , that's all and I would be happy!

I had so many sketches that I wanted to use this week and unfortunatley the week has flown by hopefully I will get time to create this week and visit you all.

If you would like to see my 1st attempt scroll down to last post.

Having a play!

Hullo, Hullo,
I have been having a little play today as I have wanted to have a go at one of these cards for ages, I believe it's called the Tri-fold card.
Isn't it amazing - The design that is !
I think this looks a little busy but I was using up scraps of paper that I had lying around and although I messed it up a little by not paying attention whilst cutting with my craft knife (nearly had my pinky off!) I am quite pleased over all!
They are so easy, I'm sure you have already made one before but I thought they would be too taxing for my lil brain!! how wrong I was x
I think everyone will be getting one of these at the mo they are my new craze so if you got a birthday coming soon - you know who you all are you may be getting one of these!!
They will all be different of course!
Well I hope you like it and please pop back as I made a No 2 tri fold card (told you I was hooked)- would you like a sneaky peak ...........
