Fathers Day Card!

Hullo, Hullo,
How are you, enjoying this glorious weather are we? Isn't it fabulous just like being on holiday - well it would be if we didn't have to cook, clean, work and all the usual stuff us women do - all at the same time of course, multi taskers that we are lol!
I've not been around much lately as much as I would like to as I have just had no time to play especially when the sun is out, we like to spend as much time as we can in the garden making the most of it and what with lots of birthdays and catching up with family and friends where does the time go before we know it we will be half way through 2010!!!
Mind you I think I need to stay out of the sun as think I have cooked my brain - this week I have already missed a hair apt (much needed hair apt too), eyebrow shape and forgot about a school trip that my son was going on, luckily he remembered!!!
Anyway enough of my waffle, thought you might like to see the card I made for my Dad he loves his car and is always tinkering with it so I thought this image from Elzybells fitted quite nicely, quite a simple card really not much going on but it is rather a large image so I didn't think it needed much else.
Well that's it from me if you've been following the footie all I can say is PHEW!
oh yeah and toot toot or whatever them voo voo blowie things are called lol x

Careful lil Mousie!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Lots to do today and people to see, we are off out for a family meal - 16 in total so fun and frolicks all round no doubt - not to mention good food! yum!
I'm gonna skip breakfast (rare) so I can indulge myself at lunchtime!
I made this card yesterday and can you believe it I forgot to post it but then it was busy busy busy, I just don't know where the hours go!
This card came together by using the sketch over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge and I have used one of my recently acquired stamps from a friend who has been having a clear out and this stamp is called Crossing Bridges isn't it lovely I do like these mousey stamps.

A view from another angle as I am trying to capture the sparkle as I always am!!
This card has been rather indulged in yellow stickles practically everywhere.
I will also be entering my card into Stamp Something - Happy Something challenge and Sir Stampalot Challenge - punches.
Would love to stay and chat but need to get a groove on!!!

3 of a Kind!

Hullo, Hullo,
Before I show you my card today I thought you might like to meet "Stan" he is a British Bulldog puppy and is absolutely gorgeous, but sadly he is not ours. He is my eldest son's girlfriends puppy and here he is sporting his "Come on England!" shirt isn't he just the cutest little thing you have ever seen. Obviously ever since they picked him up 3 months ago my lot have been non stop going on about wanting one, sadly I get very itchy and sneezy around dogs which is a shame cos I love em.
On to my card, I have something for the girls, 3 of them actually.......
There is a great sketch over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge and I thought I would use my Anya's for a change as I thought they would fit nicely in my circles and they did. I have used some Crate paper from my stash along with lots of punched flowers and gems and glitter to make it sparkle.
Here is another angle, showing off my bow that I made with my bow easy as I am useless at bows freehand, it is an amazing little piece of plastic that ties fantastic bows, the one I have used is a double bow unfortunately you can't really see from the pics.
I will also be entering my card into the following challenges
Cupcake Craft - Dazzle Us
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Floral Delights
Anyone for Anya - Hot Hot Hot
Hope you like my card for today and thanks for listening to me letting off steam in my last post your comments were very much appreciated, you are a lovely bunch of gals!

Simple Card!

Hullo, Hullo,

I have made a quick and simple card that really didn't take too long to make using the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

All products are from Stampin Up, I have used the Vintage vogue stamp set and of course i now need the matching wheel this SU stuff is very addictive!!!

Not much to chat about tonight as feeling very angry at the moment as my son had his bike pinched at school along with his friends. I feel so gutted for him and obviously anger towards the little scrotes that pinched them!!!!

He was only there for a couple of hours as doing exams at the moment grrrrr!!!!

They both have part time jobs they work very hard at and save all their money to spend on their bikes, they have built them up from scratch and its not cheap keeping BMX's as they always have to have the latest part on them.

It is so frustrating as they have probably been broken down and sold off already!

Sorry just needed to vent!!!!

Hope you are having a better week than we are

love to you all

What a Beautiful day!

Hullo, Hullo,
Yet another scorcher for us today doesn't it make you feel so alive and well when the sun is out it really puts a smile on my chops!!
Although I did just want to laze in the garden today, I did allow myself a few mins in my craft room to make a card, well I should have been tidying it really - but wheres the fun in that!!
I do love my Elzybells images and as soon as I saw the sketch over at Sketch Saturday I knew just the stamps I was gonna use and am pleased how it turned out.
I managed to sneak some Kraft card into my design as I haven't used it for a while and was getting withdrawal symptoms as I loves this stuff. I also used my twill ribbon which has been sitting gathering dust and not quite sure why as I loves that too.
Lots of papermania shimmer dots have been used and you can just see them sparkling in the sun, they are also dotted along the SU border punch if you look carefully.
Well, I braved aerobics this morning and managed to come out alive even though I came out looking like Tom Tom Tomato and sweating like an Oink!!!
I caught myself in the window yesterday whilst wearing a vest in the garden and was not too pleased with the rubber ring that seems to have grown around my waist, so exercise it is and cutting down on bread (my downfall) if I want to be wearing a bikini on hols.
I will also be entering my card for

A Spoonful of Sugar - Cute and girly
Stamp Something - 2 0f something
ABC challenge - Unused stash

I'm Back!

Hullo, Hullo,
Well hopefully this is working as I have tried to fathom this out myself!!! Doh!!!
So the rotten blighters have me on strike as they didn't want to help last night!!
I can't say I blame them really it was a lovely evening and we didn't get in from the garden until late and being the softie that I am will probably forget I am on a strike when I phase into my mother/cleaner/wifey/ general dogs body mode - does it sound familiar!! lol x
Anyway I had made a card and it was using the scraps from my last card as they were still on my desk, waste not want not !!
The challenge over at Penny Black this week is "Flowers" and as I had picked this bargain up at a local craft sale recently I thought I would use it as it fitted the bill nicely.
I seem to be in paper piece mode at the moment so that is exactly what I did with the flowers and finished off with some stickles and jewels to embelish and make nice and sparkly!
The grassy effect at the bottom was made with my Martha Stewart "Icicle" border punch , I think it kinda looks grassy too - what do ya think?
The challenge over at Papertake Weekly is Say it with flowers so I will enter my card there too.
I have been busy planting flowers today as it would be rude not to go and hang out in the garden with all this lovely sunshine we are having, hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you may be.
