Cake Galore!

Hullo, hullo,
Here i am with a tri shutter card today -aren't these just a nightmare to photo!!
Lots of cake on this one, my friends daughter absolutely loves her sweet things and everybody knows her so well as most of her presents were chocolate related!!
It was Shannon's birthday at the beginning of the week and i am sure she is still working her way through the goodies!!
As always lots of sparkle and shininess from the glossy accents but alas it never shows in me photos!
So annoying!!!
You can probably tell and they do not need any introduction really but i have used my fave Elzybells stamps, i really must have a stamp for every occasion in my stash - i am still mourning the death of the website sadly, but am pleased that some of her images are now being sold through Penny Black! hoorah!
Unfortunately at the moment it is the ones i already have so i will be keeping my fingers crossed that new ones pop through!
It was my Mum's birthday yesterday and we went for a lovely meal, it was the first meal out my mum has had since she broke her pelvis so it was a great achievement for her and she really enjoyed herself she is slowly getting back to normal just needs to boost her confidence a bit while walking out and about.
Obviously i eat far too much and still feel full this morning , yup not sure the scales will be nice to me this week at fat fighters i best make meself some super speed soup - although work colleagues may groan as it makes me a little windy - ok more than a little windy!!!

Just Cute Bears Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,

Not seen me for long time and here I am back the next day!!

I have missed out on a couple of these challenges over at Just Cute Bears and it's a real shame as I didn't realise I had so many bear stamps, the one here is an Elzybell stamp, I just love these little bears they are so cute!

I have also used an Elzybell sentiment along with believe it or not, not actually kraft card but parcel paper - it looks just as good don't you think and a lot cheaper!!

Hope you like my card for today - need to get my thinking hat on as it's my mums birthday Wednesday so need to get creating!!

Thank you for not forgetting me I appreciate all your lovely comments !

Sunglasses Needed!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Please don't say I didn't warn you it is a little bright!!
The papers are MME Colourful christmas so I went with it and colourful you got!!
I love, love, love these papers and didn't really want to give them the chop but I did and used them to do the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday and I enjoyed it thoroughly even if it was a minute here and a couple of minutes there as I have found myself doing the Taxi service today for the kids!!!
Here is the wonderful sketch I will certainly be using this one again

I hope you like what I produced and hope to be back over the weekend.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge!!!

Hullo, hullo,
Oooh where does the weekend go??
It absolutely flies by for me no sooner is it Monday and all systems go, time really flies as you are getting older it's frightening!!
I've had a lovely weekend though we went to Borough Market by London Bridge with friends, it is well worth a visit if you like food that is, everything is so scrummy and they have testers on most of the stalls so obviously it would be rude not to try!! lol
We came back laden with cheeses, pickles, duck eggs, strawberries, pesto sauce, mahusive tiger prawns and a big fish i think the man said it was a Mullett - Well I can tell you now them tiger prawns and mullett were bl**dy gorgeous!
We cooked the prawns in garlic butter and baked the fish with cherry tomatoes, lemon juice and garlic and it was melt in your mouth - I do like me fish!! (top tip if you wait till 4.15 ish the fish stall is half price obviously that's when we went!!)
I also got big flat mushrooms, meat and potato pies and cornish pasties for me ma and pa but had to laugh as the meat and potato pies had no meat in them (lol )apparently it was potato and gravy but very tasty!!
In fact come to think of it all I did was eat on Saturday as we had a Jamaican Curry from a stall for lunch followed by Cod chips and mushy peas in the Fish restaurant right in the market, pricey but well worth it .
Well hope I not made you feel too hungry!!
I managed to squeeze one card in though and chose this lovely sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp
I have used a lil Elzybell along with SU bashful blue papers and have paper pieced her dress to match, you may also notice I used some pearls, quite a few I got carried away!
Hope you likey!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Have you got the Friday Feeling!!
I sure have, gawd knows why as untold amounts of housework to be done and still have washing to put away from hols!! Grrrr I can do washing fine, love to watch it blowing about on my line all nice and fresh but when it comes to sorting and putting away - Nah i da like it!!!
Anyway enough of my old dribble onto my card lol x
I have used the super fab sketch over at Truly Scrumptious and what a fine sketch it is will deffo be using this one again.
My trusty Elzybells were allowed out to play, I always seem to pick this stamp and I absolutely love these little robins they are just so cute!! Do you like the pattern I have created with my Martha Stewart Flourish punch? Fab isn't it? Well unfortunately I can't take credit for that I first saw this idea over at Tab's blog this lady does the most wonderful creations, I am sure you have already visited her but if you haven't go take a look you will be there for hours if not weeks!!
I finished off with a few, well lots of snowflakes it is a crimbo card lol x
I really wish I had backed it with a red backdrop now with the kraft on top - too late now all stuck down.
It's funny how you think "yay that will do" then post your card and think "Umm should have done this - definitely shouldn't of done that!!
I hope to be able to do some creating over the weekend so please pop back and thanks ever so for the lovely messages you have left me feels like I never went away - believe me it is a distant memory!!!
Thought you might like to see Troy and Hercules(bearded dragons) havin a little cuddle last night while they were getting ready for bed -Awwww how sweet!!!
Enjoy your weekend
