Snow fun!

Hullo, Hullo,
I have a Mini Magnolia card today to show you, my lovely friend Tracy bought me this as a gift last year and I have only just found her since (well I did say she was mini!) I had put her somewhere safe along with mini Edwin and his lizard.
The reason I started this card was because I wanted to play with my new Martha Stewart PATP Deco flowers, these damn punches are slowly becoming my guilty pleasure (as Cheryl Cole would say!) I have also used MS branch punch and MS poinsettia punch, I seem to have gone a little punch crazy!!
I have also used my fab new Sentiments Flags die and stamp set from Lil Inker, I am loving this it comes with sentiments (although this sentiment is an Elzybell) along with a die to cut out a banner image.
I still have lots of cards to make and am finding it hard to find the time and to be honest don't really feel that inspirational to make them but they gotta be done one way or another!!
I was happy to find that my card qualifies for the following challenges
Just Magnolia - anything goes and sparkle (there is sparkle honest!!)
Secret Crafter - christmas
Stamp Something - Christmas Colours
totally papercrafts - christmas punches
Top tip Tuesday - anything goes
Stampavie and more - snowflakes
Now onto some snowy pics..
Don't trees look pretty covered in snow - i love it!
Kids deciding to build an igloo this was taken just before they started arguing and then burying each others head in the snow! Brotherly love !!
They then decided to build a real igloo..

Sadly this never got finished because then the rain came and everything started to defrost, so they have decided this will be top of the list when the next lot arrives!!
Hope you have had fun in the snow and not been too disrupted!

What A Beautiful Day!!

Hullo, Hullo,
You know what they say about rain..... Nice weather for ducks!
Lets face we had plenty of rain this morning considering it was mean't to be a scorcher!
Well look who visited our garden this afternoon - a duck!
Unfortunately a bit worse for wear duck, she had some feathers missing from her back and some from her neck and seemed a little bit muddy.
At first sight I wondered if she had been run over as she was limping a little, my neighbour Mary said she would ring the Swan Sanctuary as they are local and the man came to collect her and explained that at this time of year Male Ducks do tend to get a bit randy (ooh er!)which results in lots of feather plucking and hence the reason she was walking like John Wayne!!
He did assure us she would make a full recovery so I do feel we have done a good deed for the day which makes you feel great!

I did manage to make a card after the Duck saga and used the fab sketch from Sketch Saturday and just had to use my freshly purchased Nora she just has to be the cutest CC design ever I love her! As soon as I got her I knew I had to use my Magnolia background stamp and I am pleased with the result she looks like she hasn't a care in the world don't you think?
Unfortunately it was late in the day so pic is a little dark

There is lots of stickles on the flowers and butterflies and sparkle on the papermania shimmer dots, I tried to capture this here and as you can see failed miserably!!!
I will also be entering my card for Simon Say's as the challenge this week is Things with wings and I spy 3 butterflies on my card.
Hope you have had a lovely weekend and if you run the marathon you deserve that medal cos you must be stark raving mad!!!
I break out in a sweat just watching I definitely don't have enough puff for that sport!
Enjoy your evening!

Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Friday everybody, nearly the weekend - Yahoo!!!
On with my card - I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and they really have the most wonderful cards made by the DT, well worth a look!
I hadn't used one of my sweet gorguss gals for a while so hand picked this one, not forgetting the little pussy cat of course I really think puss goes well with this little cutie just sitting behind her legs.
I have used SU papers and marker pens along with SU punches and the fab valentine lace martha stewart punch.
Hope you like x
I was lucky enough to win the challenge with my last card (see below) and have won some digi stamps , I am over the moon!!
I have never used digi stamps before so If any of you lovely ladies have any tips for me I would be most grateful.

Sketch and Stash Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Good evening, a little late I know but we ended up having a BBQ as the weather was so nice and not long been in from the garden, I love evenings like this.
Well you will be glad to know I will not miss this weeks sketch as I have posted in plenty of time for the Sketch and Stash Challenge the less said about last weeks blunder the better!! lol
My new and neglected items are my tulle(craftsulove) that I keep forgetting to add to my cards and only remember when I have finished one (so annoying!) and also my image which was kindly stamped out by a friend - forgot I had them, but what a nice find!
I must admit all did not go too well in the making of this card (had to be something!!)
It looks quite dandy, rather pleased with it, love the papers that I chose BUT THEN.........................................DRAMA!!
I went to take the photo and ........... yep I'd only stuck all me blooming bits the wrong way up!!!
so when you stand the card as if you would on your mantlepiece this is how it would look!!!
So if there is anyone out there with a crook neck at the moment let me know and this will be winging its way to you lol xxx
Yet again another DUFUS moment.

Carols Sketch Fun challenge 9

Hullo, Hullo,
Whilst browsing through the fabulous Kath's Blog I stumbled across a sketch from Carol and this is what I ended up with!
I have finally used my twitterpatted papers from Imaginesce - these are exceptionally sweet and me did not want to chop! I lie actually I did chop into a piece when I made my Elzybell sheep card a little while ago but other than that they have been safely tucked away.
I absolutely love this magnolia with the ladybird, but it is one i have not purchased yet but my friend Heidi was nice enough to stamp me a couple until I get my mitts on one.
It's not my usual square card it is a umm non square card - sorry not very good at card sizes - silly me!
It seems great at the moment as every time I use paper with flowers on, I seem to have a punch that matches - YAY that makes me do a jig, I do like to match me flowers.
I did take the photo outside in the garden I was trying to pick up the glitter on the yellow centres of the flowers not sure if you can see but it is lovely and sparkly.
Do pop along to Carols blog as you can win a stamp set and some flowers if you are the chosen one!
Enjoy your weekend

PS - I have just looked back at my card and them "blooming" white flowers have made me fancy a fried egg!!!
