Stampin' for the Weekend - 1st Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Sunday to you, bit chillier today but the sun is shining!!!
My card above is for the 1st challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend no sketch to follow but a colour combination of Purple and yellow - this was quite hard for me as I didn't seem to have any of these colours, only in flowers!
But lo and behold out of the many papers I have in my stash I come across some which I have had ages and think they may have come in a QVC kit - I can't be sure lol.
Anyway I teamed them together and they didn't look too bad as it is not a colour combo I would normally choose but I think they work quite well, I also found a piece of lilac ribbon and the buttons were actually a design on one of the papers so I just punched those out and popped in the middle of the flowers!
I have used my Nestalbilities Labels 1 and an Elzybells stamp which is so cute, I paper pieced the lil bears dress and I have used yellow stickles on the spots and in the middle of the bow and flower, I tried to pick this up as I took the photo outside as it was sparkling, but alas I am no good with these arty farty shots!!
Enjoy what's left of your weekend

Baaaaaa.. Baaaaa

Hullo, Hullo,
Please excuse the title of this post as it was my sad impression of a sheep!
This little sheep I have decided to call "Shaun" because he so reminds me of
the little sheep character in all the "Wallace and Gromit" films - do you get me?
All my kids loved Wallace and Gromit so I have seen them all many times.
This card is another one Kim Fee demonstrated on a class at Craftsulove and I love it!
(Thanks Kim!)
On the front I have had a lil go at the 'ole stitching and yeah I think it looks cool!

As you open up the ribbon "Ta Dah!" - a little secret message appears!
What a great one too!
I gave this card to my mum for one of her birthday's and luckily my mum has
kept all my cards so yeah since starting the blog I have been calling them in for
a little photo session .
When she brought them round I was like "Did I make that?"
(you know the dodgy ones she had put at the back)
And yeah - apparently I did (I was blindfolded -surely?)
Till next time

Pretty in Pink

Hullo Hullo,
I have a little pretty pink card for today using the scalloped circle card from my Wild Card Cricut Cartridge - I really love this shaped card as you don't actually need to put a lot on it as I think the shape is the main feature. I have made lots of these shaped cards and wished I had taken photos of all now I am posting in blogland.
I had also decorated the inside but cannot find the image, nothing new for me alway's manage to delete something, including a couple of post's that kind ladies had sent me, i thought I had published them but they had disappeared
:( apologies xx
Enjoy whats left of your Weekend
