Easel Card

Hullo, Hullo,
Nice to see you, to see you nice!!
Sorry it's been so long, am considering changing my blog to "Girl Friday" as this seems to be the only day I post at the moment! lol x
On to my card - yay I'm liking these Easel cards (oh no I hear you say - Easel for the next 6 months then! waaagh)
So simple yet very effective, just hope the recipient will work out how to display it!!!
I hav used SU card, papers, ribbon and SU and EK success punches along with a Hero arts Dandelion stamp, button from stash and Lily of the valley sentiment.
You may just be able to pick up the glitter on the flowers if you look closely.

My button was from my stash which I have had about a couple of years, a pot full of different colours and I'm sure this is the first time I have used them ! shocking I know but it seemed to match the lemon papers nicely.

Finally a side view!

I can see me making lots of these!

Ooops ! nearly forgot to mention the lovely Emma has some birthday candy to give to one lucky person please take a peek!

Hope you like

Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Friday everybody, nearly the weekend - Yahoo!!!
On with my card - I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and they really have the most wonderful cards made by the DT, well worth a look!
I hadn't used one of my sweet gorguss gals for a while so hand picked this one, not forgetting the little pussy cat of course I really think puss goes well with this little cutie just sitting behind her legs.
I have used SU papers and marker pens along with SU punches and the fab valentine lace martha stewart punch.
Hope you like x
I was lucky enough to win the challenge with my last card (see below) and have won some digi stamps , I am over the moon!!
I have never used digi stamps before so If any of you lovely ladies have any tips for me I would be most grateful.

Double challenge card!

Hullo, Hullo,
My card today covers two challenges, the fabulous sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar and the challenge over at Winter Wonderland is to use gingerbread.
Oh what joy I love little gingerbread men i think they are super cute and luckily for me my new Pink cat Studio christmas stamps have little gingerbread men - aren't they just the sweetest things you have ever seen!!!
You really must check out Teri's card she has created a little gingerbread man out of the su word window punch, he's amazing!
I have used MME Colourful christmas papers, loving those colours at the mo and my Koh i noor pencils.
I will be using this sketch again as I like the simplicity of it.
Hope you like my card if you do let me know, I appreciate all your comments.
Enjoy your weekend

Long time no see!

Hullo, Hullo,
No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I am still here just unfortunately had no time to play.
My crimbo card above believe it or not was for last weeks fab sketch over at Moving along with the Times, but like I said it was last weeks Doh!!!
As I had finished it off I thought you may like to see it anyway, there was an added extra of paper piecing so I paper pieced my little Elzy girls dress.
There is lots of sparkle on this card but being the David Bailey that I'm not!!! Unfortunately you see no sparkle :(

This is one of my new stamps from a new Christmas SU set called In the Spotlight - oh dear I am liking lots of the new SU catalogue will need to make a few hints for crimbo!!

I am hoping my cards will show a little better though as I have been given a few expert tips from the highly talented Kim Piggott so fingers crossed they will seem a little more pleasing to the eye rather than blurry. (thanks Kim :)x)

There you go!!

That's a little more clearer than normal - remember practice makes perfect!!

Hope you like my creation for the day and hope to be back soon!

Loving all your creations at the mo!!!

Christmas Kraft!

Hullo, Hullo,
I made this card over the weekend whilst browsing through my cuttlebug folder and stumbled across the postage stamp die which comes with the cuttlebug machine.
I have to confess to never using this die before so decided to use it along with some stamps I hadn't used either!!
I have also used a cuttlebug folder on the white but it doesn't show so good, the stamps have been decoupagedWhilst blog hopping I noticed the challenge this week over at Allsorts is Kraft - what a delight so I have decided to enter my lil card!
If you would like to participate in the challenge there is an added extra which allows you to link twice to Mr Linky!!

Go check it out!
Enjoy your Monday if you can! lol

Cute as a Bug!

Hullo, Hullo,
Cute as a bug is the theme for the challenge over at Cupcake Craft this week so I decided to incorporate the colours of their new badge in with my card.
I have had this stamp set for ages and love it as you can use it not only for birthdays but also christmas as it comes with a fairy holding a christmas tree as well as crimbo sentiments!
I decided to give the crimbo a bit of a rest and chose the birthday fairy which I have paper pieced with Kraft cardstock and pink bazzill.
I am still loving my Kraft and go to use it every time and have to remind myself of the oodles of patterned paper crying out for attention!!
Hope you like it!
Thanks for looking

Black And Gold!

Hullo, Hullo,
Cripes! It's nearly been a week since I last posted - ooh the shame!!!
Unfortunately I just haven't had much time to create but hopefully will over the weekend.
My card has been made using the sketch over at Moving along with the Times and this is my first time I have joined them, there is also an added extra of not using any stamps- tricky huh!!
I decided on using my Cuttlebug embossing folders on some gold mirri card which was a bit tricky to photograph as you do seem to get a bit of glare as it is so shiny, but as you can see I managed to get one!
The round circles spelling out christmas is also an embossing folder and I thought great got a punch to stamp those babies out!
Yes, I had the punch but they were a little too close to punch to get a nice clean circle so they have been cut by hand and now my lil fingies hurt!!
Over at A Spoon Full of Sugar they would like to see your Christmas Creations so I will enter my card there as well.
Be sure to check out both blogs for the fab DT cards!!
Hope you all enjoying your weekend and manage to craft!
