Stamp with Us Challenge - Christmas!

Hullo,Hullo,
I have found myself another challenge over at Stamp with Us and the theme is Christmas, this is a card I made using Old Olive and Real Red cardstock and the new SU border punch, the ribbon and stamp is from my stash I think the stamp is one of those CD ones I have had it yonks and this is the first time it has been inked!!
The berries are lovely and sparkly as I have stickled them but it doesn't really show.
I also thought you may like to see Ryan's table he made at school, apparently last year but they wanted to keep it as a sample, isn't it cool he has finished it really well but wait till you see the top.......
How COOL is this it is the top of the table
I think this has been done with a laser if I remember rightly, not sure if he is familiar to you but it is Banksy a Graffitti artist from Bristol - he is the one that is never seen doing his art work but they just appear overnight for instance half way up a building !!
When he brought it home I did shed a tear as I was so chuffed it was a real proud mamma moment!
Hope you like!

Yoo Hoo! me again x

Hullo, Hullo,
Well didn't expect to be back so soon but I stumbled across a fantastic sketch over at Mojo Monday and thought it would make a great card for my Thank ewe stamp, of course I still haven't and don't think I ever will get over my addiction for Kraft cardstock so decided to use this as my base.
I am really liking the colour combo together red, black and Kraft I think it works really well.
Obviously being this time of year I will have lots of thank you cards to do so will definitely be using this sketch as it is not too fiddly!
I will also be entering this card for the Crafty Cardmakers blog as you have to use something that is your favourite and of course it is Kraft cardstock as mentioned earlier because it gives a nice rustic look.
Hope you like and please scroll down for my earlier post today.

Hi De Hi!

Hullo, Hullo,
Hope you all had a lovely christmas and Santa brought you all you wished for!!
We had a lovely Christmas and everyone seemed to be happy with Santa's pressies certainly no complaints as of yet - apart from me, I was mean't to get a delivery from Next on Christmas Eve which was a nice new tablecloth and runner for Christmas Day as of now I still haven't received it! Doh!
It didn't spoil our day of course but did niggle me a little., ok a lot!!!
The card above I made for my son's birthday and I have photographed it in my new photo tent which was a Crimbo prezzie from my crazy friend Tracy cheers mate I LOVE IT!!
I think she bought if for me as she is fed up of listening to me moaning about not getting a good photo of my cards, which leads me to think if I keep moaning about my car do you think she might give in and buy me one of those - NAH I think not but I could give it a go - hee hee!!
I hope to get some me time and make a couple of cards but must warn you they will still most probably be Christmassy!
OOps is that a crime I dunno I will let you decide, trouble is I still have lots of Crimbo stamps to use at least it will give me a headstart for next Christmas!
See you soon,

Last Minute Cards!

Hullo, Hullo,
How are you?
Manic, stressed, pulling your hair out ? or is that just me!
Only joking but I am getting a little panicky that I am not sorted for Christmas yet but then I leave everything to last minute like I normally do so I guess I just like the adrenalin rush - well at least that's what I am trying to convince myself!
I have had my swine flu jab, didn't hurt one bit and only had an achey arm for a couple of days so a result all round I think apart from my car breaking down in the car park afterwards, the alarms continually going off and missing my hair appointment!!!
Not a good day that!
I have my Christmas party at my local scrap club tomorrow and have to make some cards so as I have only just started making them, I thought I would keep them nice and simple so they will all probably look like these two above with maybe slight variations.
In all honesty I did think well it is a Scrapbooking club so would they not mind if they weren't hand made but apparently they make their cards so I didn't want to let the side down!
The card on the left with the little mouse and the scallop punched frame was inspired by Dawn if you get the time go check her blog out as she does some wonderful things and lots of videos on how to do them!
Well enough from me have fun whatever you may be doing!

Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hullo, hullo,
How are you today!
Bit wet and windy for my liking but then I suppose that's England for you!!
Just a quickie for me tonight as very tired as was dreaming all night last night and managed to over sleep so real drama this morning as you can imagine trying to get out the door on time but just about managed it!!
My card for today has been made by following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and for this I have used my Bauble Decoration Papermania Stamp.

I really like this stamp as you do not really need a lot else on the card with it, in actual fact I think this one is a little too much I would probably use it on its own with maybe a little ribbon somewhere, I will have to experiment.
Oh Well off to bed for me have a busy week this week!

Sparkly Christmas Card!

Hullo, Hullo,
Yup! think it's gonna be Crimbo cards all the way now and then hopefully no rush at the last minute!!
That's the plan anyway whether or not it works we shall see.
I have dug out some Basic Grey papers for this card and I have followed the great sketch over at Papertake Weekly a nice quick design .
Over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge it is to make a card for the guys so hopefully this will qualify. I don't think it's too girly, I have left it quite plain although must confess there is lots of sparkle, I have glamour dusted all over...

Nice and sparkly!!!
I so need some photography lessons, it definitely is user error and lack of computer knowledge in my house, I'm sure the kids would know what to do if only they could drag themselves off that dreaded new Call of Duty!!!!

Stamp something and Cute Card Thursday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Sunday to you!!
Did we survive the winds then - did they come last night - not too sure as we went out with friends for a couple of drinkies or two and then finished it off with an indian meal yum yum!!
The rest is a blur lol x
We have lots of trees at the back of our garden and they still seem to be standing so I guess it wasn' t too bad thank goodness.
I have followed a great sketch over at Stamp Something this week for my card and have used my freebie stamp that you get with Do crafts Creativity magazine, what a cracker this stamp is if you snip the little robin off you will also be able to use him as a birthday bear!! (but i guessed you would of thought of that already!!)

There is lots of sparkle and bling on my card and luckily for me my camera decided to be nice to me and you can see all the lovely sparkle here
and here!!!
I am making the most of my piccies today as the majority of the time I do not get a good piccie

Over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge this week is glitter me silly and believe me there is lots of glitter on this card!!!

Hope you like my card am rather pleased with this one today!

My card today was a nice quick one as it is made up of stickers from I Wish Stampin up scrap kit and the sentiment is from SU season of joy stamp set.
I have used the great sketch over at Get Sketchy and the theme over at Stamp With Us is Christmas so I think I have just about covered it!!
Well thats it from me so many things to do yet such little time - no rest for the wicked!

Sketch Saturday challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Time for another card and a colourful christmas one too, it is rather bright but I think I can get away with it as I have used the funky fairy from the pink cat studio christmas set.
I have used my new Martha stewart branch punch (which I had forgotten about!!!) and decided to have a go at using my retro flower punch in the MS doilly lace punch to give a pretty alternative to the petals if you look closely.
I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and whilst making this card I learn't something new - NEVER SPRITZ YOUR CARD WITH GLIMMER MIST ONCE PUT TOGETHER!!
DOH!! what a donut I am, but I have learn't the hard way, my poor card has turned out rather warped lol!! :)
I had put the papers on and the middle section, then decided to spritz, not a good idea apparently you need to spritz then stick = unrippled card!
Oh well, we all learn by our mistakes I will know next time.
OOps just realised I haven't put a number in my sentiment, is it really nearly christmas I haven't even started thinking about it.
Please tell me I'm not the only one or have you all done and dusted?
Surely not!!!

One Card - 2 Challenges!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Sunday to you!!
It is My Dad's birthday today so a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him, we are going for a family meal this afternoon to celebrate - yum yum!!!!
Have had quite a busy weekend so far, we went to the Dogs in a limo yesterday with friends, this was my first time for me in a limo and I thoroughly enjoyed myself I know it sounds daft but I felt like a celebrity as we got caught in traffic and people were trying to look in and see who was in it - obviously I didn't hang out the window and wave as I didn't want to disappoint them lolx
I have made my Dad an Easel card as these are my fave at the moment and to my surprise whilst blog hopping I manage to find 2 challenges that cover this card.
You really must check out the DT cards on both as they have some amazing cards which have been made.
Over at Crazy4challenges it is an easel card this week you really must check out Barbara Anders she has made the most gorgeous gingerbread man card - I love it!!!
Also over at Secret Crafter the challenge is an easel card and they also have some lovely cards full of inspiration.

I always struggle with mens cards as most of my stamps are girly and cute but overall I am quite pleased with this one, hope you like it and give these easel cards a go they look so impressive once displayed.

Good luck in the challenges if you are joining in

Cupcake Craft Challenge 64

Hullo, Hullo,
Girl Friday here with a card for the Cupcake Craft challenge and what a great sketch this week!!!
I really wanted to use my Kraft card (for a change! lol) and decided to create my own background using an Elzybell snowflake stamp with some papermania shimmer dots in the centres.
The strips have Doodlebug snowflakes stamped on them and main image is Doodlebug too!!
This is an old christmas set but isn't it nice having a rummage and finding stamps you had long forgotten about.
There are lots of shimmer dots on this card if you take a closer peak you may just make them out.
I knew what I wanted to achieve with this card but feel it's lacking a little something, any ideas from you lovely bloggie buddies will be gratefully received :)
Enjoy your weekend

Two Cards Today!!

Hullo, Hullo,

Another Easel card today, you knew it wouldn't be long before another one had to pop up!
This has been made with SU products and the button from stash and a pretty scalloped, scalloped EK success punch - it doesn't show up too well but along the scallops are tiny weeny scallops!!!

A very simple card, I have stamped straight on to the Kraft card and coloured in with copics, the star on the tshirt is glittered and the name is Sizzix Graffiti alphabet.
Fingers crossed these cards should have reached their destination by now!!!
Will hopefully be joining in with all those fab challenges on the blogs at the moment so watch this space !!!
Enjoy your fireworks tonight and be safe!

Anya Card

Hullo, Hullo,
Good morning on this wet and dreary day!
Aagggh well I expect the ducks will be enjoying themselves!!
Just a quickie this morning. I keep forgetting about this little Anya and this is the first time she had seen some ink, I think that's why she has this very surprised look on her face!
I probably should have done this when all the challenges were based on Autumn colours but hey ho hope you like it anyway!
I tried and I mean tried to stickle around the edge of my nestie so the little speckly dotty bits are meant to be nice and glittery - didn't quite work out but the thought was there. :)
Enjoy your day whatever you may be doing and thanks for all your lovely comments, and hey it's Tuesday!!

Easel Card

Hullo, Hullo,
Nice to see you, to see you nice!!
Sorry it's been so long, am considering changing my blog to "Girl Friday" as this seems to be the only day I post at the moment! lol x
On to my card - yay I'm liking these Easel cards (oh no I hear you say - Easel for the next 6 months then! waaagh)
So simple yet very effective, just hope the recipient will work out how to display it!!!
I hav used SU card, papers, ribbon and SU and EK success punches along with a Hero arts Dandelion stamp, button from stash and Lily of the valley sentiment.
You may just be able to pick up the glitter on the flowers if you look closely.

My button was from my stash which I have had about a couple of years, a pot full of different colours and I'm sure this is the first time I have used them ! shocking I know but it seemed to match the lemon papers nicely.

Finally a side view!

I can see me making lots of these!

Ooops ! nearly forgot to mention the lovely Emma has some birthday candy to give to one lucky person please take a peek!

Hope you like

Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Friday everybody, nearly the weekend - Yahoo!!!
On with my card - I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and they really have the most wonderful cards made by the DT, well worth a look!
I hadn't used one of my sweet gorguss gals for a while so hand picked this one, not forgetting the little pussy cat of course I really think puss goes well with this little cutie just sitting behind her legs.
I have used SU papers and marker pens along with SU punches and the fab valentine lace martha stewart punch.
Hope you like x
I was lucky enough to win the challenge with my last card (see below) and have won some digi stamps , I am over the moon!!
I have never used digi stamps before so If any of you lovely ladies have any tips for me I would be most grateful.

Hullo, Hullo,

Oh what joy I love little gingerbread men i think they are super cute and luckily for me my new Pink cat Studio christmas stamps have little gingerbread men - aren't they just the sweetest things you have ever seen!!!
You really must check out Teri's card she has created a little gingerbread man out of the su word window punch, he's amazing!
I have used MME Colourful christmas papers, loving those colours at the mo and my Koh i noor pencils.
I will be using this sketch again as I like the simplicity of it.
Hope you like my card if you do let me know, I appreciate all your comments.

Long time no see!

Hullo, Hullo,
No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I am still here just unfortunately had no time to play.
My crimbo card above believe it or not was for last weeks fab sketch over at Moving along with the Times, but like I said it was last weeks Doh!!!
As I had finished it off I thought you may like to see it anyway, there was an added extra of paper piecing so I paper pieced my little Elzy girls dress.
There is lots of sparkle on this card but being the David Bailey that I'm not!!! Unfortunately you see no sparkle :(

This is one of my new stamps from a new Christmas SU set called In the Spotlight - oh dear I am liking lots of the new SU catalogue will need to make a few hints for crimbo!!

I am hoping my cards will show a little better though as I have been given a few expert tips from the highly talented Kim Piggott so fingers crossed they will seem a little more pleasing to the eye rather than blurry. (thanks Kim :)x)

There you go!!

That's a little more clearer than normal - remember practice makes perfect!!

Hope you like my creation for the day and hope to be back soon!

The DT cards are all so nice and they have a fab prize for the lucky winner!!
I have used a FF stamp and coloured in with SU marker pens and copics an elzybells greeting and holly stamp, SU and EK success punches teamed up with Basic Grey papers.
OOh did i forget to mention my Kraft card blank -I love it love love it!!

Christmas Kraft!

Hullo, Hullo,
I made this card over the weekend whilst browsing through my cuttlebug folder and stumbled across the postage stamp die which comes with the cuttlebug machine.
I have to confess to never using this die before so decided to use it along with some stamps I hadn't used either!!
I have also used a cuttlebug folder on the white but it doesn't show so good, the stamps have been decoupagedWhilst blog hopping I noticed the challenge this week over at Allsorts is Kraft - what a delight so I have decided to enter my lil card!
If you would like to participate in the challenge there is an added extra which allows you to link twice to Mr Linky!!

Cute as a Bug!

Hullo, Hullo,
Cute as a bug is the theme for the challenge over at Cupcake Craft this week so I decided to incorporate the colours of their new badge in with my card.
I have had this stamp set for ages and love it as you can use it not only for birthdays but also christmas as it comes with a fairy holding a christmas tree as well as crimbo sentiments!
I decided to give the crimbo a bit of a rest and chose the birthday fairy which I have paper pieced with Kraft cardstock and pink bazzill.
I am still loving my Kraft and go to use it every time and have to remind myself of the oodles of patterned paper crying out for attention!!
Hope you like it!
Thanks for looking

Black And Gold!

Hullo, Hullo,
Cripes! It's nearly been a week since I last posted - ooh the shame!!!
Unfortunately I just haven't had much time to create but hopefully will over the weekend.
My card has been made using the sketch over at Moving along with the Times and this is my first time I have joined them, there is also an added extra of not using any stamps- tricky huh!!
I decided on using my Cuttlebug embossing folders on some gold mirri card which was a bit tricky to photograph as you do seem to get a bit of glare as it is so shiny, but as you can see I managed to get one!
The round circles spelling out christmas is also an embossing folder and I thought great got a punch to stamp those babies out!
Yes, I had the punch but they were a little too close to punch to get a nice clean circle so they have been cut by hand and now my lil fingies hurt!!
Over at A Spoon Full of Sugar they would like to see your Christmas Creations so I will enter my card there as well.
Be sure to check out both blogs for the fab DT cards!!
Hope you all enjoying your weekend and manage to craft!

Anyone for Anya Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Wow it is Sunday already hasn't the weekend flown by and what glorious weather we have had!!
This is my 3rd card made over the weekend, not as many as I would like to have done but 3 is better than none!!
This is the 1st time I have participated in the Anyone for Anya challenge, I should be doing them each week really as I have enough of them (who hasn't!!) they are so lovely!!
I have used Reeta with her little puddy tat which was stamped for me by a friend, this is one I don't own (yet )!
I'm not too good at colouring and shading hair, normally it's just one colour but I thought I would funk Reeta up today so she has a few bold stripes running through her normally brown hair!!!
The challenge this week is this sketch which I twisted slightly

Hopefully you like mine and don't forget to hop over to the blog to take a look at the designers cards they are fab!

Thank you for all your lovely comments :)

Stamp with Us Recipe Challenge

Hullo, Hullo,
This is my second card for today so please scroll down to take a look at my "ever so bright" card!!
This card however is for the Stamp with Us recipe challenge which consists of
No patterned paper (waagh!)
2 Stamps
2 ribbons
This was not as bad as it seemed when I first took a look, and soon came up with my card.
I have used SU fresh cuts stamp set, So saffron and Certain Celery ribbons and matching card stock along with SU pens to colour in the flower.
My trusty Kraft card blank was allowed to play today as I had been given it a rest and I expect you are pleased that I haven't done a crimbo card!!
Hope you like both my cards for today if so please leave a comment :)
See you soon

Sunglasses Needed!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Please don't say I didn't warn you it is a little bright!!
The papers are MME Colourful christmas so I went with it and colourful you got!!
I love, love, love these papers and didn't really want to give them the chop but I did and used them to do the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday and I enjoyed it thoroughly even if it was a minute here and a couple of minutes there as I have found myself doing the Taxi service today for the kids!!!
