Happy Birthday Reece!!

Hullo,Hullo,
Happy Saturday to you all!
I had got up extra early this morning to make a card for my son as I did intend to make it last night ( I know nothing like last minute!!!), but in my defence we had friends drop in and they ending up staying the evening.
I checked out the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and my card was born!!!
I have used this Penny Black stamp before it is terrific for those hard to make cards don't you think ?
You could use it for absolutely anything, just literally pop whatever message you would like on the tag and hey presto! job done.
I have used the Martha Stewart Happy Birthday Deep Edger for the message and also my Martha Stewart icicle border punch which I used to mimick flames as the mouse is speeding along - do you think it works?
I will also be entering my card into
Cute card Thursday - texting crazy
Paper Play - anything goes
Secret crafter - hot wheels
Well after a disappointing day as his new BMX frame did not arrive as expected , hopefully we will enjoy a nice birthday meal, well actually I know we will as I'm not cooking!!!!!!
Enjoy your weekend whatever you may be up to.

Cats are little angels with fur!!!

Hullo, Hullo,
What a lovely little sentiment don't you think? It is an Elzybell sentiment which goes really well with my Penny Black christmas stamp - I think it is called Angel cat
I have been seeing a few Crimbo cards as of late so thought I would jump on the band wagon and participate, if I remember rightly these are Bo Bunny Christmas papers from last year

Here is a close up of the sweet puddy tat with lots of crystal glamour dust, I went a bit mad and put it basically everywhere, snowflakes, wings, halo and collar. I have recently bought the gold glamour dust but not tried it yet, I love the stuff it lasts for an absolute age.
Oh and yes another photo which I couldn't delete from the post for some reason so here it is just at a different angle lol!
I will be entering my card into the following challenges, all of which have some fantastic cards from the DT you must go check them out!
Cupcake craft challenge - Pastel Christmas
Penny Black Challenge - Its christmas in July
Polkadoodle - Christmas in July
Stamptacular Sunday - xmas in July
It seems kind of crazy doing Christmas cards when the sun is shining but then maybe it will take the rush out of it nearing the christmas period!
Hope you like

Sweet Thing!

Hullo, hullo,
I thought I would share with you one of my cards I had been working on using my new Penny Black stamp isn't she so sweet and for once you can see some sparkle on my card!! yippee
I also added some stickles and my camera was being extra nice to me as I have managed to capture it in the photo if you look carefully at the tulle it just gives it that extra sparkle!!!

Well a good day was had by all at Craftsulove fab demos and classes hopefully piccies of creations should be on blog shortly!
My poor little trotters are a bit sore as I was running Suzie Q's cafe and was keeping those crafters watered and fed with my delights and fab Cupcakes which Paula had made were being snapped up as they were just too good to resist!!!

Flutterby by Butterfly!!

Hullo, Hullo,
I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted, naughty Suzie Q I shall slap my own wrists!!!!
Life has been hectic what with work and everyday life has left me little time to play, although I still manage to have spent a little on the way mostly on Elzybells I must confess.
What a sad day that was for me to learn they were closing down :(
I would probably have to be one of their number 1 fans and those little Elzybells will be sorely missed by me, if you haven't stocked up yet you need to hop on over as they have a fantastic sale on at the moment.
Which also leads me to ask if any of you lovely people out there have a stamp set called Teddy Surprise code 20-016 and you no longer wish to keep, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands, sadly this one had already sold out before the sale and I would love to get my mitts on it!!!
My card up above was used as a sample for our create and take at work on Friday and as I hadn't shown any cards as of late thought you might like to take a peek at it, I have used the lovely Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly along with Basic Grey Kioshi Collection,
Here is the card we actually used for our Create and Take, I have seen many frames with lots of butterflies in using different papers so thought I would just transfer that idea on to a card, the butterflies are glued at the centres and the wings are slightly lifted to give a raised effect with a little touch of stickles down the centre to add a little sparkle.
All items used can be found here Craftsulove it is our 4th shop birthday this Saturday if you would like to celebrate it with us,we have lots of demos and classes going on, all information can be found here .
Hopefully, I will be visiting you all in the next couple of days when I get a few spare mins.

Red White And Blue!

Hullo, Hullo,
"Easy tiger!!" I hear you say - I know, so I hadn't posted for a while and then like buses 2 come along at once!! lol
Well, I was quite liking the red white and blue so decided to go with that again and try a bit of a contemporary feel with this one and wanted the funky sentiment to be the centre of attention. added a few stars and DAD wording and there you go - JOB DONE!!
It looks a tad better in real life the photo doesn't do it justice and the embossing stands out a treat.
I keep saying to myself I will use my embossing folders more often so I have now taken them from the CB folder and stored them in a box with their names written at the top so I can flick through them easily.
Enough from me lots to do as usual!
Hope you are all well and thank you for your taking the time to leave me comments they are most appreciated

Red White and Blue!

Hullo, Hullo,
What glorious weather we are having today so I thought I would take the piccy outside, this card is one of the many I have to do for this month so thought I had best make a start, it was quite refreshing to get out of the sun to be honest as my craft room is lovely and cool!!!
It has a red, white and blue theme which I quite rather like together and it qualifies for this weeks Penny Black Challenge, so if any of you lovely crafters from across the pond are visiting me "Happy 4th of July!"
I will also be entering my card into
Papertake Weekly - Stitches
You must go check out these challenges they have some wonderful cards the DT have made!!
Well, short and quick from me today I'm afraid as we are painting the outside of the house which is a task and a half!!!
Also need to prep for the BBQ - I dunno about you but we love eating al -fresco in this weather all I need is my jug of Pimms - and no I'm not sharing it's all mine!!!

Patchwork Effect!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Yes I am still alive!
So many things to do and so little time, what with this lovely weather we are experiencing and plenty on the social calendar , I am afraid I haven't been around as much as I have wanted to lately - apologies everybody!
My card above is to be entered into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - paper patch, my first thought was obviously something cutesie as I normally associate with Penny Black then remembered that I had recently purchased this lovely stamp from a friend and being a lover of Kraft combined the two!
A bit late I know as the challenge finishes tomorrow -doh!
Hopefully I will have some more cards to share as I do have a lot of birthdays at the moment - fingers crossed x
hope you are all well and hopefully will catch up with you all over the weekend at some point
