My 1st Flowerpot card!

Hullo, Hullo,
I know these type of cards have been around for a long long while but this is actually the 1st time I have had a go at making a flower pot card and I love em!!!
It took a lil while cutting out all the Marianne Design flowers but I think it was worth it, all the flowers and leaves are glimmer misted and look lovely and sparkly as they catch the light.
The flowerpot has been embossed with a cuttlebug folder and I have used the Martha Stewart Doilly Lace punch also.
Over at A Spoonful of Sugar this week the challenge is Diecutting/Punches so I will be entering my card.
I will also be entering it into
Totally papercrafts - bling it on
Papertake Weekly - sparkly and bright
Crafty Calendar - birthdays
Simon Say's - Punch em
Creative Card Crew- lets punch it
Well busy weekend for me need to polish my Nimbus 2000 it's gonna be chilly out Sunday so if you are high in the skies don't forget to say Hello I will probably have a fleece on and ear muffs so you may need to shout !!!!
Don't forget to sort out your clocks too!!

Crimbo card and candy alert!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Good Evening to you, mine has been hectic, I only forgot about my monthly scrap club which I really enjoy going to, I couldn't believe it when I got the phone call but managed to make it just in time to make my tri shutter album. It's not finished of course so no piccies as of yet!!
I did manage a little crimbo card above though and it is very sparkly but alas as usual no sparkle vision, I absolutely love this little stamp i think those mices are so sweet!!!
The reason I am really here though is to let you know about some fabulous candy on offer from the one and only Faye if you have never visited her then you must (not just for the candy!) but for the giggle factor, this lady has me in stitches with her very quick and witty sense of humour she really is right up my street and I thoroughly enjoy her beautiful cards and daily goings on!
So if you haven't been fluffed before go grab some now and wear your button with pride!!!

Pretty Flutterby!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Friday to one and all!!
I have a pretty lil flutterby today these Marianne Designs are simply stunning, so intricate and delicate don't you think?
My Magnolia Doo Hickey Fence die has had another outing I am really loving this at the moment, I didn't think I would bother with this at first as I had the Martha Stewart fence punch, but then I saw this fab card over at Kim's blog and it sold it to me straight away!
Another angle so you can see the butterfly in a little more detail, I have double cut with a white so it could stand out from the dark background as the orange blended in too much.
The challenge this week over at Cute Card Thursday is What's buggin you, my friend Caz is also Guest Designer for October so please pop over and take a look some wonderful creations over there.
I will also be entering my card into
Ellephantastic Challenge - anything goes
Crafty calendar challenge - Autumn birthdays
I would also like to say Thanks to all you lovely ladies out there who shared your ladybird tales on my last post they really made me chuckle and also reminded me that I too was on a beach back in the 70/80's as a child when the ladybirds descended on us and the sea was red so I came out started chomping on an apple and before I knew it they had taken over my apple! Cheeky little beggars!!!
If you read my comments on my last post this next bit will make sense, if you didn't then you should its funny!!
Note for Sandra (aka Crafty Nan)
so Mrs Crafty Nan it was you who whooshed your ladybirds my way was it - they ended up everywhere I was hanging washing out and they were on my face, hair, everywhere!!! I caught Mark sweeping them out the garage there were so many!!
Well, we have a few rather large hairy spiders that big they look like they are wearing boots so I will tub them up and whoosh them your way - I like to share too!! lol!!
Enjoy your weekend whatever it may be!!

Tilda card!

Hullo, Hullo,
I have used Tilda with flower on my card and this is her first inking, she has been stashed in a drawer with a few others for quite some time now and was crying to come out and play so here she is, I think this has to be one of my fave ones and she could be used for almost any occasion I think!! (Maybe not for the lads!) Don't quite think they would appreciate her do you?
I have used a mixture of Martha Stewart punches, Marianne Dies and Magnolia Dies they all work so well together.
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
Cute card Thursday - make your own
Crafty Catz - Magnolia/Tilda
Papertake Weekly - 3 of a kind (I have used 3 dies)
Just a quickie from me this evening as had a fun filled weekend as it was my sons 20th so went our for a meal (god that makes me feel old!!), also went to a Karaoke (and yes I did sing, well I tried!)

Red and Black!

Hullo, Hullo,
Bit of a late one from me tonight, the bed that was supposed to be delivered Friday turned up this afternoon - yes Tuesday, but it's here now only took a month to come considering it should have been 1-2 weeks!!!
Well it's all up but can't be used yet as the memory foam mattress has to sit for 72 hours!!! hey does it really matter just another 3 days to wait !!
My son has been complaining about his old bed for ages, I reckon he will sleep for a week when he eventually gets to sleep in it! lol
Anyway back to the crafting - I have used a fab stamp which I won from the lovely Elaine and decided to paper piece her dress and make a little scene on my card, here is a little close up of the sentiment, I am so pleased this came out ok as this was the last thing I did on the card and luckily it stamped perfick!!
I will be entering my card into the Papertake Weekly challenge as it is their 3rd Birthday Woo Hoo!! they are having a blog hop with lots of prizes and you can choose whichever challenge you like which they have used in the last 3 years - I have chosen In Stitches -June 2010.

Below is the last project I made at the stamping event. I forgot I hadn't posted it and when I went to finish it off realised I didn't have quite enough paper for the card so I had to make a Suzie Q special and compromiseActually looking at the photo now I realise I still haven't finished it as the handbag only has one handle!! Doh!
Well I hope you have enjoyed my red and black post tonight and if anybody was slightly interested I did make it there and back in the truck from the MOT station in one piece with no "cling ons" attached!!

Hey Funghis!!

Hullo, Hullo,
What a wet and dreary day it is!!!
I'm stuck indoors today as I am waiting for a new bed to arrive, an ongoing saga I will be very surprised if it makes it here but to be honest I'm past caring!!! Grrr!!
Good job I was here though as my youngest is at home with a temperature and sore throat so will be passing him food and drinks on the end of a pole wearing a mask as I do not want the lurgy!!
Anyway I managed to sneak in my craft room to make a card using the sketch from Papertake Weekly designed by the lovely Dawny P!
I used another of my many Elzybells and for the first time used my Martha Stewart scissors to fringe the cardstock - what do you think? it's rather snazzy isn't it!!
Here is a different angle so you can see the fringey bits at their best.

It just so happens that the challenge over at Cupcake Crafts this week is to use Pink and Brown so I will enter it there also.
Now whilst I have been travelling around blogland I read about the fascinating "mushroom circles" or should I say fairy circles that have cropped up in Kim and Fayes gardens, well we have a large garden and I know we do get mushrooms so I wanted to have a look today to see if there were any in our's but the weather is awful so I thought I would show you a lovely pic of my Hibiscus Syriacus Bluebird that was in full bloom when we got back from our hols, isn't it lovely? It's one of my favourite flowers.
But look!!!!
Whilst I was searching for my flower photo, I forgot I had taken this a couple of weeks ago
LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THESE.......
These are based at the bottom of one of our trees, isn't that one of the most massivest mushrooms in mushroom world you ever did see!!!!
If the rain lets up today I will go see if these Funghis have been playing around and produced more.... Watch this space!!!!
Well I hope the weather gets better and you all have an enjoyable weekend, mine will be filled with a Family meal, aerobics and taking my other halves Ford Transit Tipper for an MOT!!!
Yes I hear you gasp I am taking the truck for an MOT as he will be working!!
WARNING!!!!
Please stay indoors between the hours of 11.15 and 12.15 tomorrow morning and do not go anywhere near the Manor Royal as I will be driving the truck!!!!
Please lord let me get there and back in one piece and with no additional vehicles or members of public hanging off my bumpers!!
Toodle pop!
