HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy New Year everybody I just can't believe it is 2010, my this year has flown by - where did it go!!!
I hope you all had a fab time celebrating in one way or another we certainly did we went out for a meal with friends and then off to a party to see in the New Year we had a great time , my poor little ankles really ache with all that dancing i was doing and my voice is a little hoarse too with all the singing!!
My other half is still in bed - yes I know it's 2.15pm he must be feeling rough but no sympathy for him, nothing that a berocca won't sort out!!
Anyway enough of my waffling - on with my card, i have followed the sketch above from the Sugar Bowl, they have a fantastic prize for the winner! I really liked this sketch and was determined to use my Perfect Plum SU papers, I am really loving this colour at the moment, I have even bought myself a pair of tights in this colour but not been brave enough to wear them yet!
It also has a theme which is to use "New" in it this could be new year, new baby or simply a new piece of stash, I have used both new stash (my papers) and made a new year card I have also used pale plum SU cardstock and gable green , I am liking these colours together,
I will also be entering my card over at the new challenge blog Fussy and Fancy Friday as they also would like to see something new for there 1st challenge.
Here is a little close up of my flower, I have punched the petals with my Martha Stewart - Doilly Lace punch just to give a pretty lacy edge to them , if you look closely I do believe I have captured the sparkle from the bubbles also.
I do not normally send New Year cards but will give this to my Mum and Dad, my mum will love it she keeps all my cards I make her and when I look back at them - 00h there are some horrors!! lol
I would just like to say Thank you to everyone who has left me comments in 2009 and I hope you will continue to visit me in 2010!
Toodle pop!
