Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
I have managed to squeeze in a card (should be doing housework euggh!)
I have seen lots of these types of cards on various blogs and really love the crisp freshness about them, so thought I would give it a go.
I have tried my best to capture the layers and texture as they are quite difficult to photograph

Here is a side view, I have used my Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch again, it is so dainty and pretty it will get a lot of use!
I have even dusted off my cuttlebug folders Happy Birthday and Swiss Dots, I always forget to use embossing folders it's such a shame as they bring so much dimension to a card I must make a mental note to use them more often.

One last arty angle, the photos do not really do it justice it looks better in real life (honest) I am rather pleased with it.
The silver mirri card just takes the plainness out of it. the 40 is cut out using the Cuttlebug Alphabet "Hippie Chick".
I will be entering this into the Sketch Saturday Challenge as I have used their fab sketch.
Hope your enjoying your weekend, thank you for your comments and remember.........................
THE CLOCKS GO FORWARD TONIGHT!!!!!!

Coooeeeeee!!

Hullo, Hullo,
How are you all, hope you are well, I feel a bit of a stranger!
It has been rather a long time since I last posted - nearly a month - shocking!!!
It's not because I haven't wanted to just been really busy lately and had no time to play it has been very frustrating.
I obviously haven't stopped buying my crafty bits of course and hope to get back into the swing of things again and find time to do some well needed crafting, as I opened the door to my craft room I'm sure I heard my stash saying "yay she's back!"
One things for sure they didn't tidy up for me, the last time I was in there I decided I would have a tidy up I didn't actually get round to the tidy bit instead it is just mess everywhere but I managed to create a little space to knock this simple card out today before I headed off to The Ideal Home Exhibition.
My feet are now very sore and I spent thousands (window shopping of course not real money!) I wish!!!
On to my card, nice and simple to ease me back into the flow, I have followed the sketch over at Papertake Weekly and used some SU papers and cardstock along with my new Bo Bunny stamp, my new SU punch and lots of sparkly bling!
Hope to catch up with all your lovely creations over the weekend, I have missed joining in all the fun !
