Pretty Flutterby!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Friday to one and all!!
I have a pretty lil flutterby today these Marianne Designs are simply stunning, so intricate and delicate don't you think?
My Magnolia Doo Hickey Fence die has had another outing I am really loving this at the moment, I didn't think I would bother with this at first as I had the Martha Stewart fence punch, but then I saw this fab card over at Kim's blog and it sold it to me straight away!
Another angle so you can see the butterfly in a little more detail, I have double cut with a white so it could stand out from the dark background as the orange blended in too much.
The challenge this week over at Cute Card Thursday is What's buggin you, my friend Caz is also Guest Designer for October so please pop over and take a look some wonderful creations over there.
I will also be entering my card into
Ellephantastic Challenge - anything goes
Crafty calendar challenge - Autumn birthdays
I would also like to say Thanks to all you lovely ladies out there who shared your ladybird tales on my last post they really made me chuckle and also reminded me that I too was on a beach back in the 70/80's as a child when the ladybirds descended on us and the sea was red so I came out started chomping on an apple and before I knew it they had taken over my apple! Cheeky little beggars!!!
If you read my comments on my last post this next bit will make sense, if you didn't then you should its funny!!
Note for Sandra (aka Crafty Nan)
so Mrs Crafty Nan it was you who whooshed your ladybirds my way was it - they ended up everywhere I was hanging washing out and they were on my face, hair, everywhere!!! I caught Mark sweeping them out the garage there were so many!!
Well, we have a few rather large hairy spiders that big they look like they are wearing boots so I will tub them up and whoosh them your way - I like to share too!! lol!!
Enjoy your weekend whatever it may be!!
Toodle pop!

  2. Hi Sue
love your card, I sooooooooo love that fence die, I must have missed that one when I visited Craftsulove (may JUST have to buy that one) lol. I have always wanted a white picket fence I.R.L, don't think it would go too well with Lelandi fir trees somehow lol.

Now onto you sending me spiders, fanks BUT no fanks. I don't like them. I can never bring myself to kill them, must be something to do with my dear old Mum always saying to me, If you wish to live & thrive, let a spider run alive. So if Hubby is not around to catch them, I have a special little jug which I catch them in, it's called "THE SPIDER JUG", I then release them down the garden, (just thought possibly your's came from my pad) lol. I agree with you it's nice to share, AND that is why I sent the ladybirds round yours. I wanted them to eat all the greenfly off your plants (to save you the job of having to do it). Sometimes I even surprise myself with how kind I can be rotfl.
    hugs
