Red and Black!

Hullo, Hullo,
Bit of a late one from me tonight, the bed that was supposed to be delivered Friday turned up this afternoon - yes Tuesday, but it's here now only took a month to come considering it should have been 1-2 weeks!!!
Well it's all up but can't be used yet as the memory foam mattress has to sit for 72 hours!!! hey does it really matter just another 3 days to wait !!
My son has been complaining about his old bed for ages, I reckon he will sleep for a week when he eventually gets to sleep in it! lol
Anyway back to the crafting - I have used a fab stamp which I won from the lovely Elaine and decided to paper piece her dress and make a little scene on my card, here is a little close up of the sentiment, I am so pleased this came out ok as this was the last thing I did on the card and luckily it stamped perfick!!
I will be entering my card into the Papertake Weekly challenge as it is their 3rd Birthday Woo Hoo!! they are having a blog hop with lots of prizes and you can choose whichever challenge you like which they have used in the last 3 years - I have chosen In Stitches -June 2010.

Below is the last project I made at the stamping event. I forgot I hadn't posted it and when I went to finish it off realised I didn't have quite enough paper for the card so I had to make a Suzie Q special and compromiseActually looking at the photo now I realise I still haven't finished it as the handbag only has one handle!! Doh!
Well I hope you have enjoyed my red and black post tonight and if anybody was slightly interested I did make it there and back in the truck from the MOT station in one piece with no "cling ons" attached!!
Toodlepop!
xx

  1. You've been a busy bee Suzie, Love them all. The handbag is stunning, love the b&w paper, and that image you won is sweet.
Hope the bed (eventually) is comfortable, memory foam is supposed to be bliss, could do with it myself!

oh doh why did you mention you only had one handle, (no one else would have noticed)lol, stunning colours. Love the image on your card, and love the scene you have made. You were brave to stamp the sentiment last, (I don't think I would have been that brave) rotfl. Glad your bed turned up (at last), and I'm so pleased/overjoyed that you made it to and from the garage with no "clingons" etc lol.
