Tilda card!

Hullo, Hullo,
I have used Tilda with flower on my card and this is her first inking, she has been stashed in a drawer with a few others for quite some time now and was crying to come out and play so here she is, I think this has to be one of my fave ones and she could be used for almost any occasion I think!! (Maybe not for the lads!) Don't quite think they would appreciate her do you?
I have used a mixture of Martha Stewart punches, Marianne Dies and Magnolia Dies they all work so well together.
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
Cute card Thursday - make your own
Crafty Catz - Magnolia/Tilda
Papertake Weekly - 3 of a kind (I have used 3 dies)
Just a quickie from me this evening as had a fun filled weekend as it was my sons 20th so went our for a meal (god that makes me feel old!!), also went to a Karaoke (and yes I did sing, well I tried!)
So I am feeling somewhat tired tonight so need to get to bed!
One last thing, was anybody else swarmed with Ladybirds at the weekend we had hundreds in our garden they were everywhere!!!!
I suppose it was the lovely warm weather we were blessed with, we even had black ones with red spots!!!
Must go eyelids are closing!
Toodle pop!

  2. Hullo Hullo Mrs! Hope you are well, if a little pooped.
You turn your back and before you know it these boys have just gone and grown up, seemingly overnight.
I felt really old when Hal was 16, so you must feel positively ancient!

Onto your card (now I've insulted you enough. You know I'm only kidding)
Beautiful card. Love the papers, are they Crate? and the kraft. Sweet image and your dies look fab. Great paper pieceing too.

    Take care
    Love Elaine xx

  3. Fabulous Suzie, your card is beautiful.

no ladybirds for us this year, but I do remember being on the beach one year in the eighties and we couldnt sit for lady birds, had to go inside and get away from them.

  4. Wow! This is fantastic Suzie! I love it.
We had loads of ladybirds earlier this year. I remember in the 70's we had loads and I wore a bright yellow (wombles) T-shirt to the beach and turned red from all the ladybirds that landed on me, I thought that was ok but I was mortified by all the people pointing at me and saying "look at that little boy covered in ladybirds".

  6. Hi Sue
lovely card, love the colours you have used, also love the flower die. Intresting you saying you have quite a few Magnolia stamps stashed in your drawer, as I didn't fink you was a fan of them (because they don't have gobs) rotfl.

Now onto your ladybirds I know just where yours came from. On returning from France last week we were infested with them in our bedroom. Hubby was going to splat them with the flykiller splatter thingy. Superwoman (me) don't you dare laugh, came to their rescue, and armed with an (empty ice cream tub) and a smaller plastic box with lid, climbed onto the steps and proceeded to rescue them, (which was no mean task). First of all I had to catch them in the smaller container, then transfer them to the bigger one, multiply that 114 times. Being the silly fool that I am, I then let them fly out of the large container out of the window, job well done you may fink, (not so). As it was such a lovely day I left the window open, (you know what I am going to say next), when I returned to the bedroom a couple of hours later, the little blighters were all back, and cheeky beggers had brought along some mates. I then had to start over, this time it was x 120. So this time I thought of a mean plan, I took them down to the bottom of the garden (in the fairy garden), and recited the poem ladybird ladybird fly away home to them. My guess is because the wind was blowing in your direction they decided to fly to your garden, so sorry about that lol.
