Sweet Tilda,

Hullo, hullo,
Oooh! its been such a long time between posts I've forgotten what I'm doing!!
Did I mention I had a new camera for Crimbo?
Well just as well, as my other one decided to jump off the table while downloading some piccies and unfortunately the lens was out at the time, it didn't fall far but didn't want to close properly when I turned it off!
I gave it to my better half to have a look like you do, walked out the kitchen for five mins and come back to the camera in pieces Waaaaggh! you can imagine what I said, let me tell there were a few bleeps in there!
So obviously I am now learning to use my new camera, I'm really not good at things like that so everything takes forever at the moment so bear with me please.
I am hoping to get my other one fixed as I knew exactly what I was doing it was so quick and easy. :(
Anyway enough of my waffling on to my card, this is the card i made for my lovely mum whose birthday it was on Thursday and she loved it but as I have said before she always say's "another one with no gob!" lol!!!
I have coloured her with my Distress inks (really loving these) and used lots of bits and bobs which I haven't used in ages.
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
Magnolia stamp lovers - button and bling
Magnolia Down under - flower power
A spoonful of sugar - birthday wishes
Sweet Stampin - oh so girly
Hope you have had a lovely weekend despite the weather!!

Loads of Love!

Hi There,
I know it's late but thought I would show you the valentines card that I had made with a SU stamp, Martha Stewart Heart Lace punch and Papermania running stitch punch which as soon as I punched it thought "now this will make a nice road for me truck!" and that's how this card came about as my original idea was nothing like this!!!
It didn't even include a truck it was going to be a cute little bear with a heart full of flowers around him !!
I will be entering my card into
Our creative corner - cutting technique
crazy 4 challenges - hearts
Now look at this beautiful card and box I received for my birthday, I thought you may like to see it as this was made by the lovely Sandra aka Crafty Nan, the inside of the card was beautifully decorated too, isn't it lovely to receive cards from fellow cardmakers as we know how much time and effort has gone into it.
Well I thought I would show you as hopefully soon Sandra will have her own blog up and running and by looking at this card what a treat we will have visiting her as I know Sandra visits a lot of people and comments on their blogs so hopefully we can all visit her.
As soon as she is up and running I will let you know!!!!
I am guessing the blog will be "Crafty Nan! " so keep those eyes peeled!!
Note to Sandra - Pressures on now !!! hee hee x

Decorated Tissue Box!

Hullo, Hullo,
Well here I am as promised with the gift I made the lovely Elaine- an altered tissue box and I don't quite understand why I felt the need to paint it first as it was already Kraft in colour!!!
What a dingbat I am, I absolutely love Kraft, well I guess you have gathered that by now!
Anyhow as you can see I painted it first and then proceeded to mat and layer in Kraft!!
I have used Cuttlebug corner dies on the top

The papers are SU and the tag is Magnolia with Martha Stewart butterflies and grass punch
Can you guess where the sentiment is from ...............
One of my fave images, so so cute - any ideas where from?
Same as before but different message, from?
Oooh! another gorgeous image and yes you've guessed it from ELZYBELLS!!!
After I made this I did think ooh I quite fancy one of these myself so I think I will have to invest and make another.
It does sparkle too with lots of added Stickles and I was so pleased Elaine loved it as much as me!
I will be entering my tissue box, sorry Elaines tissue box into

Something New!!

Hullo, Hullo,
This is a first for me, as the title suggests I have tried something new and have now found another love!!
I frequently visit Dena's Stamping Corner and love all her cards she makes and admire her colouring (don't we all!)
Well, what a lovely surprise it was to see she had posted how she colours on her blog so I watched the tutorials and had a go myself and thoroughly enjoyed it, lots of room for improvement of course but was pleased with my first attempt at distress inks.
I can definitely see why a lot of you lovely ladies use this product and will definitely be adding a few to my collection.
Well, my New Years Resolutions are not going too well, I have bought some crafting goodies since Christmas lol, i was consciously trying to restrain myself and start to use all my unused items but there are so many things to tempt me at the moment, it is very hard!!
I have my birthday to look forward to on Sunday and celebrations have started already firstly by being a "Lady who Lunches" today with friends, I couldn't believe how many "Ladies that Lunch" there were, it was absolutely heaving and a great atmosphere!
I probably stink now though as I did have garlic King prawns - one of my all time faves!
I will be out tomorrow night and then out on Sunday, phew it is gonna be tiring and then I will wonder why I can't get in my size 8 jeans! (yeah right!) on Monday!
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
Sketch Saturday - sketch (i may be too late ! oops but a great sketch)
Just Magnolia - anything goes - ribbon
Magnolia stamp lovers - glitter challenge
Craft us Crazy - anything goes (New blog) thanks Nicki)
Paper Play - Stamp it out

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend too!
big hugs
