Stamp with Us Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Hope you are enjoying the weekend , what a shock it was to see SNOW this morning, I knew it was going to be cold but wasn't expecting to see the dreaded whiteness!
Still, nice to see Mr Sunshine out today, I have been to my aerobics session and you will be pleased to know I checked out the mirrors and the one I was situated in front has a hairline crack across it hence me looking so strange , honestly it does, no kidding as I stood in front of the one next to it and I didn't look so bad - still not happy but not so wide looking! lol x
Here is my entry for the Stamp with Us sketch challenge this week, apologies the card does seem to be blending in with my sofa!
I have used the red, black white and kraft combo, I am really liking these colours together.
I have mangaged to use 3 different SU stamp sets Pocket Silhouetttes, Circle Circus and one of the new Sale a bration Sets not forgetting the retired background stamp Canvas.
I tried my hardest to get my little knots to sit the same way , but they were having none of it so I left them well alone!
Hope you like and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

Hullo, Hullo,
It's Friday and what a busy day I have had, hairdressers this morning followed by bushwacker shape (eyebrows!) bit of food shopping ,cleaning, washing, and before I know it time to pick the kids up!!!
I managed to squeeze in time to have a go at the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and decided to let my monkey out to play, not used this stamp for a long time it is a Stampendous stamp.
The blue is not showing up so good on the flowers it is a nice turquoise colour with stickles in the centres, I even dug out my Quickutz Sunshine Alphabet to use for the greeting HB2U. My Quickutz shapes really do seem to be gathering dust must make a conscious effort to use them.
Must dash as plenty to do I want to get myself sorted before I have the dilemma of choosing Silent Witness or Big Brother, we watched Silent Witness last night goodness that was tense I really felt like I was there, if you watched it you will be with me on that one - think I will be hopping channels tonight!!!
Enjoy your evening and think of me its my aerobics in the morning - yes I am going back for more torture :)

Cutie Patootie!

Hullo, Hullo,
Hope you have all had a nice weekend, mine seems to have shot by I went to my Keep Fit Class, goodness me I am officially unfit, 20 mins in and I was ready for a lie down!
I really wasn't impressed by the wall facing us that was covered floor to ceiling in mirrors, I wouldn't of minded but the mirror in front of me was dodgy I am convinced it was one of those ones you get at the funfair which makes you 3 ft tall and 5ft wide - everyone else looked fine!!
I suppose the only way Ican look at it is "No pain , no gain!" and believe me I'm hurting today so I must of done something right.
I won't be looking forward to my 1st night at Fat Fighters though as we went out for a meal & drinks with friends Saturday and then today I have done nothing but munch say's me with a Bourbon or two in her hand, all that effort in the week just to blow it all and eat a weeks worth in two days! Doh!
Anyway, I did manage to squeeze in a card in between scoffing and found a great new challenge blog called Just Cute Bears and it's one for the girls this week, all you need to do is include a bear on your creation, I have used the fab sketch from this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge.
I have lots of bear stamps once I started looking so will hopefully find time to participate in the challenges.
Must fly as need to sort out more washing why is it never ending, I have been washing all weekend!!!

Girly Card!

Hullo, Hullo,
Thought I would treat you to a non Crimbo card, I mean we are nearly at the end of January and those lil fleurs will be trying to pop their heads at some point!!
I will still be joining in with the Christmas Challenges so there will be the odd one but generally will be trying to churn out more general cards.
I dug out one of my fave Elzybells today and teamed her up with some Imaginisce twitterpatted papers, I love these bright colours they have a real summery feel to give you a lift - I dare not mention the S word as on last post I mentioned it and the very next day it S'd all day really wasn't expecting so much but luckily it disappeared just as quick. phew!
I have paper pieced her dress and cut around flowers from the papers to use as embellishments,
I even dug out some neglected turquoise and red ribbon to use, something I always tend to leave off as no good at doing bows, I really must practice this!
Hopefully I will get some crafting time this weekend as lots of lovely sketches to choose from, this card was made using the sketch from Sketch and Stash which worked perfectly with the challenge of Layers over at A Spoon Full of Sugar they both have some super DT cards, well worth a look.
Gonna have an early night tonight as decided to get fit (not fat!) this year so will be doing an aerobics class tomorrow morning - ooh I know I am gonna ache and will be sucking on those asthma pumps like a hungry bubba!!

Double Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Oops! bit of a late post from me, I have just realised I made this card at the weekend and the sketch I have used is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and as it is Wednesday tomorrow thought I had best post my wee card!!!
I like this sketch as it is not too fussy and will definitely use it again.
I know I have used yet another Christmas Stamp but then it is B for Bells over at ABC Christmas Challenge and of course I had to use this sweet little Tilda with her golden bell, I have used a combination of SU markers and a metallic gold promarker for her bell, unfortunately it doesn't show up too well in the photo.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the top 3 last week when it was the A for Angels challenge so thank you lots ladies and am looking forward to my surprise package!
I just need to kick my brain in to gear and remember how to put the blinkie on me bloggie!!
Well I will say goodnight as it is rather late and pray we do not get the snow they are predicting tomorrow... surely not they must have it wrong!!

Another Crimbo card!

Hullo, Hullo,
Well, well , well more snow just to disrupt us a little more, I thought we had been lucky and missed it but Oh No it's back and what a pain it is!
The roads were treacherous this morning apparently as they were very slippery, schools were closed yet again, obviously the kids are over the moon!!
I haven't been able to go to work today, so thought I would pop on and post the card I made for Penny Black Challenge you could choose between 2 sketches this week I have chosen sketch 2, and have used the little dog stamp from Holly Critters, he has lots of glamour dust on his hat and sparkles a treat!!
I really am still into my Christmas stamps and will try to use others as I am sure most of you are sick of Christmassy things especially the white stuff!!
I am really enjoying blog hopping at the mo lots of lovely cards being made and lots of inspiration.
Hope you are all safe and well.

A is for Angels!

Hullo, Hullo,
How are you - still cold and snowy no doubt!
We had a few little flurries but none of the expected additional 5 inches or so that they predicted either its passed or it will creep in over night we shall see.
Well over at ABC christmas challenge A is for angels and that is the challenge this week, I am still quite enjoying playing with my christmas stamps so I will be following these challenges over the next 12 months and will hopefully have plenty of cards ready for the season.
I have used the ever so cute magnolia angel stamp along with Magnolia papers, SU circle of Friendship sentiment and martha stewart punches.
There is quite a bit of sparkle on this one it looks lovely in the right light!
As promised I also have a few snowy snaps (apologies if you are sick of the sight of the white stuff) but they do make super photos
