A Get Well Card!

Hullo,Hullo,

I finally have a card for you, unfortunately not getting any time at the mo to create but thought you may like to see a card I had made for my friend Tracy who had an operation on her knee and is now on her way to recovery.

Yes, I hope you are not getting fed up but I have used my Kraft card yet again, I really really love this, as you can see nearly every other card seems to have Kraft on it at the mo!

You will probably notice I do not like to cover it up with patterned paper - I like it just the way it is and I have used a Penny Black stamp today and have paper pieced all of it with "Kraft paper" - I did just start out with the label then decided on going the whole hog!!

I also noticed while blog hopping over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week it is Buttons Galore where the DT samples are fab.
May not be galore but I do have buttons - 2 of them lol :)

Stamp With Us Recipe Challenge

Hullo,Hullo,
Back with a card as promised for this weeks http://stampwithus.blogspot.com/ recipe challenge
which is - 1 patterned paper, 1 button, 1 flower and 2 ribbons.
I have kept my card very simple using patterned paper (sorry doesn't show up that great) from SU collection Washington Apple, flower from the SU froggy stampset and I have used some of my fave ribbon lace and a lil bit of string in my button which hopefully counts as the 2 ribbons.
You must pop over and see what the DT have done all there creations are fab!!!

Some pretties from my garden!!!

No card as of yet as have been pretty busy out and about - where does the time go I can't beleive it is Monday already!!!

I did manage to take a couple of piccies in my garden for "Flower Watch!!" lol but not of my hibiscus syriacus bluebird i am still waiting for it to bud!

And a bee u ti ful butterfly, I only wish i was a good photographer believe me i tried my hardest to get one of her wings open!

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Hullo, hullo,
My card today is for the sketch saturday challenge they have a great sketch to follow and you can win a lovely stamp called "Grape Fairy" along with some scrumptious embellishments!!!
Do take a look I am sure you will want to join in.
I decided on a chocolate and brown theme and used my papermania papers along with an Elzybell stamp (surprise surprise!!)
A short post as I am doing my second job today, I think all us Mums do this "TAXI SERVICE" -here, there, blooming everywhere, yet I ask them to do something for me like bring the washing basket down from upstairs and they turn into "Kevin and Perry" ugggh do i have to?
I wouldn't mind but they are coming down the stairs anyway,what harm is bringing the basket down with them gonna do!!
Waaaagghhh - sorry just needed to vent!!!

Just Magnolia & Allsorts Challenge!!!

Hullo, Hullo,
How are you blog buddies, it seems ages - it is ages!! Oh how I have missed you all x
Unfortunately at the moment I just don't seem to be able to grab a spare min to create and with so many cool sketches out there, it is so frustrating!!
I have followed the sketch over at Just Magnolia this week, it really is a great one and as always the DT samples are fab, hopefully I am just in time as they change each Friday I think, if not
I have enjoyed making my card anyway!

I have used my new Doodlebug papers, these are soooo cute, and of course Magnolia with the lil muffin just had to be used, unfortunately the photo does not pick up my sentiment too well, the brilliance ink pad has left quite a sheen which doesn't seem to interact with my camera too well, but it is a circular message which say's "Sweet Wishes" which I thought suited my card to a "T"!!

Along with my new papers I used my new lace - I really can see me getting all these colours of the lace as i loves it!!!!

Hopefully it won't be as long as last time for me to post again

A Quickie Card!!

Apologies for not blogging - just not getting any time at the mo and there are so many challenges I would love to do!!(it's not fair!) :(
This is a very simple and quick card as you can see, using my nesties 2 and one of the adorable Elzybells stamps - they have more new ones tomorrow and you know what that means - new rubber = empty purse!!!
Actually purse is empty but there is always my money tree that springs up if there is new rubber to be had - do you have one of those lol!!!

Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far!
I have managed a little me time today and decide to have a go at the sketch over at Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog and what a fine sketch it is!! The DT samples are great you must check them out.
I know,I know,I have used My Minds Eye papers yet again - they just seem to call me at the moment and I'm not that good at saying no so here they are - no sentiment as of yet, to be really honest "I forgot" doh!!! I'm sure I will find a lil space when the time comes.
I have used a magnolia background which I loveandI was quite pleased as one of my punches seemed to match the little flowers on the paper, so all in all am quite happy with this card!

Oh Dear!!

Oh dear, oh dear what a fool I feel - please tell me I am not the only one who has done this - surely!!!!!

My card above, which actually I am very pleased with - was actually made for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge for this week using their sketch.That was until I looked at their blog just a minute ago to get the link, and shock, horror and a few beeps thrown in I noticed that also the theme was "spots, circles or dots!"

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! not one blooming spot circle or dot on my card - ooh the annoyance - I can see you laughing now Tracy!!!

Oh well learn by your mistakes onwards and upwards!!

Just Magnolia Challenge 4

Hullo, Hullo,
I'm back with a blue one as promised, it just turned out a little later than expected.
Reason being - I could not find my white pen anywhere last night, but I will probably walk into my craft room tonight and it will be waving at me!!
My card is for this weeks Just Magnolia challenge , the DT cards are fab as always and you have to incorporate stitching!!
Oh my lordy stitching waagghh!!
I do actually have a lil sewing machine which I recently treated myself to but haven't plucked up the courage to use on my cards as of yet, so I must practice.
Unfortunately my faux stitching is not showing up to well, but it is on the blue checked squares - honestly it is ! lol

Pink Gorgussness!!

I said I would be back and here I am with some pink, pink and more pink Gorguss girl card.
I have used my Labels 4 nesties, I really am loving these at the mo - can you tell? lol !
The papers are SU and I have used my new lace in the background , I think I will be buying lots more of this in all colours - more expense!!

What a lovely surprise this morning for me I hopped on the Stamp With Us challenge blog - and I've only gone and been picked for "FAVE FIVE" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have popped it to the right at the top of the side bar if you would like to look at it shining!!
I am so chuffed and even chuffeder (sorry don't think this is a proper word lol) but I think you know what I mean - I even managed to get the blinkie on my blog with no help!!
I did it all on meself, not sure if I would be able to do it again mind!! lol

I signed up for online classes over at Stamp with Us and it was the best £15 I have ever spent, so many projects, live chats ( something i've never done before What a scream!) top tips and lots more besides - it really is a bargain - can't wait for the next lot!!!

Papertake Weekly Challenge

As with most of my cards I do not measure I do it by eye - on this occasion I think you can tell, isn't it strange how the minute you put it on the screen you notice all your faults!
Well in my case anyway - sorry gals not implying by any means you all like me waaaghh wouldn't that be awful lol :)
The papers I have used are called Garden Party and have a guess what my images are?

Just Magnolia Challenge 3!

how are you today, it's a bit glum isn't it, amazing how when the sun shines it puts a whole different perspective on the day, when it's like this, I don't know about you but it puts me on a downer! :(

So because of this I needed to perk myself up, so I crept into my craft room and decided to follow this sketch over at Just Magnolia

This is a great sketch don't you think?

On my card I decided to use my free papers that came with Issue 1 Creative Cardmaking along with my QK flourish and some punched flowers.I have added some faux stitching with my stardust pen which I also used on her ribbons and the little heart on the paper pieced envelope - unfortunately I don't ever seem to be able to pick up "Glittervision" on my 'pooter!!

That's enough from me, I have a kitchen to clear up having just eaten a roast, but don't worry I have left room as I am going to attempt "Eton Mess" but with raspberries!

I'm not really a pudding eater but if anything's gonna get me going - this is it!!!

Stamp with Us Challenge

Do you like my lil owl?

This little fellow is on my card for the sketch over at the Stamp With Us challenge for this week. I have used my scraps from a SU Simply Scrappin kit called Petal Party, these kits are great, you get so much in them and always seems to have loads over when you have finished a project.

Next week they will have more samples of cards as they have just selected their DT team, so am looking forward to seeing their creations.

My friend Kim has been fortunate enough to be picked for the DT so huge congratulations to her, do pop over to her blog as she does some great cards and I am sure she will be a great asset to SWU!!

Forever Friends challenge

Just a little quickie card for you today I thought I would try the challenge over at Forever Friends

These bears are just so cute and I don't really use them enough but will do now I have found their blog!

Here is my entry for the challenge this week which is a sketch, I love the simplicity of this one and I have used my Kraft cards for a change!!

I have added yellow stickles to the centre of the daisies on the image, also on the paper but unfortunately the photo does not pick up the sparkle which is a shame :(

No card but a Clematis!

Hullo Hullo,
What another glorious day!!
No card as of yet but thought I would share with you my beautiful clematis which has just started to flower - sad I know but I get so excited each year when this blooms as it is so pretty!
Loads more flowers to come out yet - I love it!
I can't wait to show you my "Hibiscus syriacus bluebird" - when that flowers it is amazing, it is my all time favourite flower - watch this space if you are a flower fan lol :)

Well what can I say, I did my first ever, ever, ever, online chat last night over at the Stamp with Us online classes - oh my word what a riot it was chatting with so many people at once it were crazy and so much fun.
If you haven't already signed up you are seriously missing out and we are only on day 2!
