A Load of old Baubles !!

Good Afternoon,
Well I say "Old Baubles!" they are in fact new baubles, they were going to be my Christmas Stamp for 2010 but things just didn't go to plan so I am showing you some samples now which I have experimented with as I wasn't really up to playing with them at Christmas time.
You have probably seen lots of cards with these no doubt as they did seem to be popular this year they are the Delightful decorations from Stampin Up which also has a matching punch so nice and quick to produce!!
This set is using SU real red and old olive, I have also used accessory stamps from SU set Season of Joy and Hero Arts Holly Border Flourish.
I have used a different colourway here SU Baja Breeze and my all time fave Kraft, I have added stardust stickles along my Martha Stewart Icicle Border punch and on the Baubles but alas my glitter button doesn't want to play today so you will have to take my word for it.
As I hardly made any Christmas cards this year I will still be showing some on my blog through the year as I do not want to be in the same situation this Christmas, so for those of you who are sick of the site of Chrimbo cards I will officially apologise now lol x
Maybe I should make my next card a nice colourful non christmassy one, it would also be interesting to know which colourway you preferred the real red, old olive or the baja breeze and kraft?
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
Die Cut Dreams Christmas - punch out your sentiment
Creative Cottage - something new
Meljens Designs - square or round card
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
Creative Craft World - anything goes
ABC Christmas challenge - anything goes
Bye for now hope this rain stops soon it is so dreary!!

  1. Hi Sue
love your cards, if I had to pick a favourite my preference would be Baja Breeze & Kraft. I'm going to be like you this year, & try & make a few Christmas card's a month, that way I won't be rushing around at the last minute, like a headless chicken. I was still making Christmas cards on Christmas Eve. I was so sick of making them that I said next year I am going to buy them, then hubby gently reminded me that I say the same thing every year lol.

  6. Aaarrrgghhh! Don't make 2 sets of wonderful cards like this and expect me to choose a favourite!! I love your design and think both colourways are fabulous.

I've packed most of my Christmas stash away for now, but couldn't resist keeping a few bits and bobs out just in case I get a sudden urge to go all festive - probably when we get our next lot of snow!

    Hugs, Nicki, xx
