Sugar Bowl Challenge 13

Hullo, Hullo,
Are you frazzled? Oh my lordy it is hot who needs to go on holiday, how glorious it is!!
This challenge is one I would not miss out on purely for my love of Kraft, unfortunately I did not have a Kraft base card that was big enough otherwise I would of used it.
The sketch is Lilian's and you can see it here at Sugar Bowl and for participating one lucky blogger gets to win Gorguss Girls set 3 - how cool is that, it would be rude not too!!! :)
Obviously I have chosen to use a gorguss girl with her sweet puddy tat, and I have paper pieced her dress if you look closely with coordinating papers, she too has lil leaves on her dress, the papers are Imaginesce Wild Things collection - Pandamonium and Zopophabet. I am loving these papers at the moment especially as they have the Kraft colour on them.
The flowers on the paper matched perfectly with my flower punch so I have used these with coordinating colours.
I have a lot of birthdays this month so will be pretty busy churning out the cards but I don't mind as it is an excuse to craft and my cellar is lovely and cool - must remember to turn my stereo up though as the minute I go down there, literally I here Muuuummm or Sue but one things for sure the lazy blighters will not come and see me just shout from the bottom of their lungs until I come running!!!
Does this ring a bell with anyone???

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Hullo, Hullo,
What a glorious day, it is hot, hot, hot!!
When I awoke this morning I knew it was gonna be a busy busy day so I browsed the web early while everyone was tucked up in bed and came across this sketch over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge and what a super one it is, this is one I will use over and over.
I chose the stamp "Greetings" and used Bo Bunny papers "Gift of Love" along with a flower punch, Labels 4 and ribbons from stash. Not forgetting of course my trusty Doodlebug jewels!!

I coloured in with my copics and took the photo outside as it is a lovely day!
Hope you like it, enjoy the rest of your weekend and remember your sunscreen!

Anyone for Cake?

Hullo, Hullo,
Anyone for cake?
Man I Luurrrve Da Cake!! Isn't that just the best catchphrase from Little Britain when they do the fat fighters sketch - it crack's me up!!
Yet another card from me with an Elzybell, this one is from the Just Desserts clear set along with the sentiment, I must admit I could pick these stamps all the time to do my cards but I do have lots of others so it is only fair they all get to see a bit of ink lol :)
There has been lots going on over at the Elzybells blog and lots of candy to be given away.
The talented Kim Fee is giving away great Elzybell candy at the moment, do pop along and take a look - make sure you have a cup of tea though you will be there for the night her cards are scrummy!!
Hope to be back over the weekend and visit all your fab blogs, enjoy yourself whatever you may be doing and I hope the weather holds out.

Elzybells Birthday Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,

I have been waiting all week to get round to participating in Elzybells Birthday Challenge and I finally grabbed a lil bit of me time for my creation. It is Elzybells 1st blog birthday and Elizabeth has set a challenge to create something other than a card and there is a fab prize of £15 to spend on goodies!!, so I decided to transform a pail as these make a lovely gift especially once they are filled with goodies!

Here is the lid of the pail and I have used nestabilitie circles and circle scallops to create a layered effect, I have used My Minds Eye - Pretty Please papers and for the adorable flower pot, which i have paper pieced i have used clear stamp set Mini Messages - A Little Hello

Here is my finished pail, I am not sure I will want to give it away as I like it so much lol xonly joking a special little girl will be receiving this with lots of images in, she doesn't know yet but i guess she will once she reads this :)

The Elzybell image is Flower Girl and I have paper pieced her dress, the band at the top and bottom I have used my Su scallop border punch and the flowers are an EK success punch, with the little pearls in the middle by Kaisercraft. I have used pink tulle and aqua tulle for the bows on the handle, this actually looks better in real life than it does in the piccy.

This was a great challenge for me as I do love my Elzybells and do have quite a stash of these beauties!!

Hope to be back again tomorrow

Sleep tight

My 1st Ketto

Hullo, Hullo,
What do you think of my brand spanking new little pretty "Ketto" isn't she so sweeeeett!!
No sketch or challenge for this one, I just couldn't wait to ink her up and this is what come of it - nothing too fancy quite simple really.
The papers are papermania, nesties labels 4, and another regular at the moment my x cut punch, I do love the shape of these little flowers and I have added some pink liquid pearl in the centres. For my image I chose to use copics and kept with the lemon theme from my last card, not normally a colour I would go for but it worked quite well with the papers. If you look really, really hard I have also added yellow stickles on her dangly bits of her dress.
Weathers, not looking too good here this morn, we must of had heavy rain earlier and the sky looks full of it, so I shall leave you with something to hopefully put a smile on your face!

If your wondering if I eat this little fella, the answer is no!! honest I didn't my youngest did and apparently he was yummy!

Unfortunately I have discovered the bakers stall in my local Saturday market, where I have been buying my seeded bloomers and crusty rolls to feed my bread addiction and this week this little fella called me to take him home, along with a few of his siblings of course, he didn't want to come on his own! ha ha x x oops did I mention I also then had to pop across to the butchers to get the mighty pack of bacon to go in my crusty rolls, ummmm bacon- crispy- crusty roll with butter oozing - ummmmm do you fancy one ? can you smell it ummmm ............

hope i not made you hungry lol

Stampin' for the Weekend - 1st Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Sunday to you, bit chillier today but the sun is shining!!!
My card above is for the 1st challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend no sketch to follow but a colour combination of Purple and yellow - this was quite hard for me as I didn't seem to have any of these colours, only in flowers!
But lo and behold out of the many papers I have in my stash I come across some which I have had ages and think they may have come in a QVC kit - I can't be sure lol.
Anyway I teamed them together and they didn't look too bad as it is not a colour combo I would normally choose but I think they work quite well, I also found a piece of lilac ribbon and the buttons were actually a design on one of the papers so I just punched those out and popped in the middle of the flowers!
I have used my Nestalbilities Labels 1 and an Elzybells stamp which is so cute, I paper pieced the lil bears dress and I have used yellow stickles on the spots and in the middle of the bow and flower, I tried to pick this up as I took the photo outside as it was sparkling, but alas I am no good with these arty farty shots!!
Enjoy what's left of your weekend

Stamp with us Sketch

Hullo,Hullo,
Here is the sketch this week over at Stamp with Us a kind of tricky one for me, would of been fine if I had the two stamp sets I had in mind - mental note to self - must put them on my wish list, my ever growing wish list of lots of crafty things!! lol
I have used my SU Sweet always papers, SU oval punch and stickers left over from my scrap kit Petal Party, you get so many things in your scrap kits great value for money.
Here is my card

Very orange think i've been Tangoed!! that's a blast from the past do you remember the little orange man, in fact I think I sent off for the little toy from Tango he kind of looked like Morph with a suntan, awww how I loved Morph ;)

Anyway must dash just been reminded Big Brother is on, now I have been known to be a fan but do I really want to have my life taken over yet again!

Dawny's Sketch 16#

Hullo, hullo,

My card for today is following the sketch from Papertake Weekly , the DT samples are so pretty and worth a look, in fact so pretty I thought I cannot compete with the pro's! so decided to put together one for the lads.

Here is my new stamp Skater Ian which is a Greeting Farm stamp(I do seem to be gathering rather a large collection of this lil family - are you? hee hee)

He is such a cool chappy doing his tricks on his skateboard and is probably like two of my lads - spend their entire lives on their bmx's at the local skate park, doing their tricks and absolutely covered in cuts and bruises!!!!

Oh well that's boys for you - have a lovely day -in the sun, my washing will be!!
