Hullo, Hullo,
Happy Sunday to you, bit chillier today but the sun is shining!!!
My card above is for the 1st challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend no sketch to follow but a colour combination of Purple and yellow - this was quite hard for me as I didn't seem to have any of these colours, only in flowers!
But lo and behold out of the many papers I have in my stash I come across some which I have had ages and think they may have come in a QVC kit - I can't be sure lol.
Anyway I teamed them together and they didn't look too bad as it is not a colour combo I would normally choose but I think they work quite well, I also found a piece of lilac ribbon and the buttons were actually a design on one of the papers so I just punched those out and popped in the middle of the flowers!
I have used my Nestalbilities Labels 1 and an Elzybells stamp which is so cute, I paper pieced the lil bears dress and I have used yellow stickles on the spots and in the middle of the bow and flower, I tried to pick this up as I took the photo outside as it was sparkling, but alas I am no good with these arty farty shots!!
Enjoy what's left of your weekend

Hello Suzie Q, that's what my sewing teacher used to call me back at school......don't know why though. Just thought I'd share that with you...lol See everyone has a bit of yellow or purple in their stash, hidden away, and you've done a marvelous job with your find. Love your little image and your paper piecing looks great. Love the little buttons you've made for the centre of the flowers, they look like little daisie with eyes...so cute.
