Top of the World!!!

I'm on the top of the world looking down on creation ,
And the only explanation I can find Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around, Your love's put me at the top of the world .........
Oh if only I could sing I would be singing it to you lovely people out there in blogland -really I would and for those that know me know I am pretty excitable and this just has to be one of those days!!
After the past two weeks of kids with broken toe, flooding the bathroom resulting in water pouring through ceiling (yes my own fault couldn't even pass the buck on that one !!) and skating injury for my youngest resulting in bruisin on chin, head, shoulders and a complete nail being ripped out whole, yes whole, no nail just raw flesh it was nasty! (hope you haven't just eaten!)
Well onto my good news, I awoke to find I had received this lovely award from the lovely Maree

How sweet is this such a lovely award- thank you so so much, it also needs to be passed on to 10 lovely people so this is going to be hard so I will be drawing names out of a hat for this one. ( I am going on hols so may have to do this when I back hope you don't mind x)

For my next news I also made Top Five over at Cupcake Craft Challenge this week, thank you girlies I am so chuffed!!! Look to the right for my brand new shining blinkie :)

Now then, could things get any better - Oh yes they most certainly can...............................I ONLY WENT AND WON THE MYSTERY GOODY BAG OVER AT THE FANTASTICALLY TALENTED MARLENES A LIL BIT OF ME (thankyou Marlene x)

Obviously I haven't got a clue what I have won (bit of a giveaway in the title "Mystery goody bag" lol!!!!! but am I one excited bunny as it wasn't a random person picked you had to make Marlene giggle and luckily she chose me, so I am sure you have visited Marlene's blog before but if not check out her super duper cards and you can also see my funny story!!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge!

Happy Friday to you!!

Super Duper fabulous sketch over at Truly Scrumptious this week and lots of fab entries and DT cards for the challenge!

I have used my new, ever so cute stamp by Tina Wenke called Mouse-Bird-Ladybug-Cupcake oh my goodness that was a mouthful! There are lots in the collection and I love every single one of course!

All the papers I have used are SU and the small cupcake is an Elzybell image. they have been coloured in using copics and SU markers.

I could of sworn I had a balloon die but alas could not find it, so I made do with a tag die which is a CB die and added the string and I think it passes as a balloon!!!

The added extra is "bling" for the challenge - unfortunately I can never get them "blingy" shots with my camera -it's a "blinging" nuisance!

This is the best I could do......

Yeah I know - not that good and slightly blurry but you may be able to see the glossy accents on the balloons and ladybug, but believe me the stars, sprinkles and streamers have stickles on them and they sparkle a treat!!!

Sketch and Stash Challenge!

Hullo, Hullo,

Good evening, a little late I know but we ended up having a BBQ as the weather was so nice and not long been in from the garden, I love evenings like this.

Well you will be glad to know I will not miss this weeks sketch as I have posted in plenty of time for the Sketch and Stash Challenge the less said about last weeks blunder the better!! lol
My new and neglected items are my tulle(craftsulove) that I keep forgetting to add to my cards and only remember when I have finished one (so annoying!) and also my image which was kindly stamped out by a friend - forgot I had them, but what a nice find!

I must admit all did not go too well in the making of this card (had to be something!!)

It looks quite dandy, rather pleased with it, love the papers that I chose BUT THEN.........................................DRAMA!!

I went to take the photo and ........... yep I'd only stuck all me blooming bits the wrong way up!!!

so when you stand the card as if you would on your mantlepiece this is how it would look!!!

So if there is anyone out there with a crook neck at the moment let me know and this will be winging its way to you lol xxx

Yet again another DUFUS moment.

Who's a Silly Billy?

Hull, Hullo,
I said I would be back with another Anya and here I am feeling a little silly now!!
I made this card a couple of days ago from a sketch over at Sketch and Stash challenge blog, but when I went to upload to show all you lovelies - Do you think I could remember where I saw the sketch ?
Note to ones self "write down where the sketch is from!"
Ooh how frustrating it was hunting it down as this was the 1st time I had stumbled across this challenge blog, and when I did finally find it they had moved on to the next sketch!!!
Waaaaaaggghhhh :) what a donut I am or as my kids would say "DUFUS !!"
Anyway I hope you like my card I have used my Kohinoor pencils and copics for the fleshy bits!!
Lots of sparkle on my card but alas I am no David Bailey!!!
Oh well hope to be back tomorrow with the new sketch.

One Card, Two Challenges!

Hullo, Hullo,

Happy Monday to you, hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I managed to sneek a couple of challenges in at the weekend and this card in particular was made using the fab sketch from Secret Crafter and to my delight it also fits in with the Beach Theme over at Cupcake Craft this week, so lets just say it's a "double bubble" card for me!!

I have used my new Koh-i-norr pencils on Anya's hair and copics for the rest, I am rather pleased with her hair, not quite sure the camera has picked it up too well though:(

Hopefully on this shot you can just about see the stickles and glossy accents effect

Both sites have some beautifully made cards and if your struggling you are bound to find some inspiration for sure - go check them out!

Just a quickie today from me as I have work to get ready for and I am running late - do pop back tomorrow I have another Anya card to share with you!

Marlene's Sketch

Hullo, Hullo,
What a lovely day it looks to be at the moment, lots of sunshine, glorious sunshine!!!
Let's hope it stays that way!
Todays card is created by using the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl and the added extra of "doodling" - now this was fun, as you can see I was a little doodle happy and looking at it now I may have gone a little bit over the top, but Hey ho I will let you decide that one!
I think the papers were Dovecraft and the little squares at the bottom with the greeting were gold square peel offs written in the middle, cut out and raised on sticky pads.
Hope to be doing a spot of gardening today along with the washing, cleaning etc, etc ............
