One for the Boys!!

Hullo, Hullo,
After doing such a girlie card last, I thought I had best do one for the lads!!!
The challenge over at Cupcake Crafts inspired this card as the task this week is Transport!!!
My Elzybell stamp sprang to mind straight away so I set straight to work paper piecing it and popping the wheels on dimensional pads to give it a bit of depth and finished off with an Elzybell sentiment.
Here is an angled shot so you can see the wheels and L plate lifted, I am sure there is a stamp set out there with the L plate on so I thought I would give it a go myself and am quite pleased with the result.
I will also be entering my card into the following challenges
Lollipop Crafts - all about boy
A spoonful of sugar - anything goes
Now onto some extremely amazing and unbelievable news!!
You may remember back in June my son and his friend had their bikes stolen from school, well after lots of investigating from us and friends of my son and help from the police I am sure you will be pleased to hear that we now have it safe at home, Ok maybe not with the original seat, front wheel or forks (that cost a fortune!!) and stripped of all it's paint, but it is back where it should be and not with the thieving little *?&*** that stole it!!!!
To say I am pleased is an understatement it feels sooooooo good, unfortunately his friends has never been spotted but we will still be looking!!!
Have an enjoyable weekend whatever it may be and thank you for popping by and leaving me lovely comments x

Such a lil Cutie!!

Hullo, Hullo,
Good Morning!!!
I thought you might like to see the card I made for my friend Paula whose birthday was on Wednesday, she is very girlie so I chose this stamp as it was a new one and was waiting to be inked and isn't it just the sweetest pose!!!
I have tried the dotty background that I have been seeing on blogs, it was a first attempt, a little practice is needed I feel!! lol
I wanted to give it a distressed feel but without the grunge factor and I think I have just about pulled it off - Goodness what a mess I got into "paper fluff" everywhere even on the insides of me glasses!!!
Good fun though!!
The papers are My Minds Eye - Quite Contrary and I am nearly out I must restock as I love them.
I have also used my favourite thing ever at the moment - Kraft Card I really don't think I am gonna ever get fed up with this!!
There is lots of stardust stickles on the flowers and around the edge - very sparkly!!

Here is the inside of the card, the flowers have liquid pearls in the centre but unfortunately you can't really see.
Hope you like!!
I will be entering my card into the following challenges
ABC challenge - distressing
Sir Stampalot -distressing
Cute Card Thursday - birds or butterflies
Totally Papercrafts - Happy Birthday
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Birthday Card!

Hullo, Hullo,
I hope you've had a lovely weekend apart from the rain but at least Mr Sunshine was kind to us today.
I went to Bingo on Friday with the girlies to celebrate Mrs Wonka's birthday which is tomorrow - Happy Birthday mate!!!
There were quite a few of us and lots of wins, in fact totalling them up it came to over £500 how cool is that - sadly I was not one of the chosen ones but there is always next time!!
This is the birthday card I made, I got my inspiration from a very talented lady Dena whose blog I like to follow she made the most gorgeous card please click on the link to take a look.
My papers are Doodlebug, Mrs Wonka is a fan so I allowed myself to slice into them instead of them sitting in the drawer gathering dust!!
I also used my new Bunting die which I love so you may see a few more cards like this!!
Now onto some very exciting Blog candy from the lovely Karen Howard over at Feline Playful she has the most fantastic idea of a blog showing you all of the challenges that are available on certain days and what the current challenge is - how cool!!

Karen had promised a candy when she reached 200 followers and more blog candy if she reached 300 which she has so Well done!!!
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning pop over and spread the word!!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Christmas Album!

Hullo, Hullo,
A bit of a wait I know but here is the first project that we made at the Stamping event on Saturday, I had such a fab time with a lovely group of ladies who made the day so enjoyable and you know what they say "Time flies when your having fun!" well it sure did before I knew it I was packing up to go home.
This is the front of the album, Please excuse the sticky strips showing , TOP TIP - stick your double sided tape to paper you are about to apply !!! lol!!!! not to album in the hope you have cut to correct size!!!
What a ding bat - everyone knows that!!
I will put it down to excitement.
Drum roll please ......................................
Wow! doesn't this look impressive, when I saw the sample I thought "Yeah Right! like mine is gonna turn out like that!"
Can you believe, it actually did I was rather chuffed I must say.
The trouble is I love it so much I won't want to give it away, it will probably be my sample card so I remember how to make others.
Hope you like, I will also share my other projects too but have to admit I still need to finish one.
Enjoy your day!

Spots And Stripes!

Hullo,Hullo,
It seems a bit wrong that I am sharing Christmas Cards as the sun is shining brightly, but I have been itching to have a go at Jacqui Dennis's 5 minute basket and it is so simple yet rather stunning - if I can achieve it absolutely anybody can!!!!
They are so simple to make you really must click on the link if you haven't tried it before as Jacqui has done a great tutorial with photos and I guarantee you will be churning them out in no time they are fab!!
I will be filling this up with some kind of goodies, I did have a hunt around in the cupboards just incase there were some treats that the kids hadn't sniffed out but as I guessed there was NOWT!!!!
I have used mostly Stampin Up items apart from the snowflake brad and Cuttlebug snowflake die.
I will be entering my creations into
Totally Gorguss - Christmas
Meljens Designs - stripes
Secret Crafter - Make a Start on Christmas
Totally papercrafts - clean and simple
Lots to do today - the dreaded housework and yep that will probably take up all day, what a bore but then I have a fun day ahead tomorrow as I am going to an all day Stamping Event and luckily for me it is 5 mins down the road and It will be a laugh a minute for sure as it is being run by the lovely Mrs Wonka and partner in crime Natalie O' Shea, hopefully I will have some creations to show you if I get to finish them if I'm not gassing to much!
Enjoy your weekend!
