Let's hope you haven't been hit by the plague like us, well i say us it was my youngest Reece who spent most of Christmas being sick and has now got tonsilitis!

So to cheer myself up I have decided to play along with Debby's Fave Five of 2012 it seems to be quite a tradition and is so lovely to check out everyones delights!

Crimbo Snowman!

Good Afternoon!

Have you ever been happy with a card you made and then stuck something on that you wish you hadn't!!!!!!!

As Rolph Harris would say "Can you guess what it is yet?"

I doubt you got it wrong - yes it is the darn holly leaves, I stuck one one and thought "mmmmm yay or nay? "- then stuck another and thought "definitely nay!"

Do you think the buggers would come off - No way Jose they were stuck fast and upon trying to get them off i was ripping the paper!

So they stayed!

I rather liked my card before the holly but not as keen now lol x

Good Morning!

Sunny outside and no frost! ooer is it being nice to us so we are prepared for the snow next week!!!

Oh well, what will be will be I am sure we won't get landed with it , more than likely the poor people up North will get there shares worth!

Another crimbo card to add to the everlasting list, I haven't made many at all may have to delve into the shop bought ones from last year, i always buy them in the sales as can't resist them at such a good price!

Also the price of postage is ridiculous and they literally have to be like 'Flat Stanley'  with no bulky embellishments otherwise you really will be charged the earth!

I have used this fab set Signature Christmas from Clearly Besotted Stamps, a perfect addition to your stamp collection and especially good for making tags, it comes with lots of sentiments.

This particular sentiment however is a Penny Black stamp.

Traditional colours for this card i don't think you can really beat red and green for christmas.

Good Afternoon!

Happy 1st December I can't believe it is so near to Christmas and however much I try I still don't feel very Christmasey yet!!

I did decorate a Christmas Tree last night though and it does look pretty just need to find a fairy for the top!

It must of put me in the mood a little as I made this card using the Marianne Wooden Tree, i love this die and especially the little owls they are so cute, lots of jewels and glamour dust on the snowflakes to make them sparkle!!

Girly Pop N Cutz!

 Good Morning Peeps!
Sorry about the photo quality but these were taken at night and are pretty fuzzy sadly!
Yet another pop n cutz, it is a bit of an addiction at the moment!
This is a very girly version all pink and kraft (of Course!)
Lots of bling and lots of punches i really love this swirly punch from Martha stewart you can just about see it above (damn photographer needs sacking!)

I coordinated the inside as well and used another Martha Stewart Happy Birthday deep edger punch and SU owl punch, i also made the owl a party hat using the SU pennants punch!

Do you like the bunting stamp? Fab isn't it !

This was my Secret Santa Gift last year from my lovely crafting friend Caz, it wasn't too hard for me to work out who bought my Secret Santa gift as Caz is the official Bunting Queen!

Sizzix Pop n Cutz!

 
 Hullo Hullo!
I have yet another Sizzix Pop n Cutz card to show today these are so so easy to make and i love them they make a nice change from your normal card, i think it is a nice surprise when you open these cards as you can make them as simple or as bold as you would like

This one in particular was clean and simple and here you can see the gap on the pop up, this is a good place for tucking money into as a surprise gift!

Be careful though as the recipient is normally bowled over with the design of your card (thanks to Karen Burniston!) that they don't normally notice the money!

This has happened to me twice now! lol x

I have used lots of different punches on here Martha Stewart  Cherish around the page punch,do crafts running stitch (i think or have i just made that up lol x) Dienamics fishtail flagstax, also Sizzix flagpole with lantern and sign, and of course XL horizontal base die set  3D circle label ( a must have)

Rain Rain Go Away.......

 .... come again another day - or never !!!
Oooh! it is very grim today and i am now wishing i had cleaned the chickens out yesterday - guess i may get a little wet! Grrrrr
It was my eldest sons birthday a little while ago and this is the card i made him using the new Sizzix accordian album die, i am seriously loving this die at the moment as i think it makes the most wonderful cards and yet so so easy.
I must say he was rather impressed with his card, but more impressed when he found the money underneath!!

I also made him it's own little box to go in and was rather pleased with myself as i made it from scratch and it worked perfectly even the lid!

I normally struggle with things like this but for some reason someone was watching over me and allowed me a stress free cardmaking session in no time at all.

If you decide you like the above card but think no i will never manage that just take a look here at this you tube clip and i am sure you will change your mind it really is easy peasy!

Elzybells!

Good Morning!

ooh it has been a long time since i have shared an Elzybell card my first love!!

I used these special little clear stamps for a good friend Zoe (aka Mrs Wonka) for  her birthday and just realised i had not shared the card as of yet - naughty me!

I used the very pretty pad from LOTV this one is called Bonnets and Bow Ties they are gorgeous , i have yet to get the krafty christmas i can't believe i forgot to purchase that one!

For the inside i used yet another great sizzix die called Floating frames i am loving the sizzix dies at the moment they give your card that extra bit of va va voom!!

There has been lots of die cutting and punching for this card, i was really pleased how it turned out.

Yet Another!

Good Morning! 

What a lovely fresh bright and sunny day today, i suppose it is teasing us for the expected rain that is due tomorrow not forgetting the wind also!

well we could keep our fingers crossed i suppose that Mr Sunshine may make an appearance.

Well as my title suggests i have yet another Sizzix pop n cutz card but more pastel colours this time using some magnolia accessory stamps the may your day be special sentiment, balloons and cupcake!

On the front of the card i paper pieced the balloons and raised a couple with sticky pads then added some stickles to give it a little sparkle!

On the inside i used the Decorative strip dies, flagpole with lantern and sign, along with the Poppy Die Party Lanterns so i could spell out Paula to hang above the sentiment, I cut the flagpoles out a couple of times and wrapped pink and white twine around the front ones to add a little texture.

I couldn't resist using the martha stewart  pretty border punch and again lots of stickles to make this card sparkle for a special persons birthday!

I am loving these Maja papers they are so elegant and very girly.

Sizzix Pop N Cutz

Good Evening!

Fingers crossed all will go well not had much luck with the ole pooter of late but tonight seems to be a good one!!

Well I have been making a few cards of late using the Sizzix Pop 'n' Cutz , I am certainly loving these and they are so easy to make and decorate you can whip them up in minutes depending of course how much you wish to embellish them.

This was a recent one i made for my parents Anniversary i decided to go bright and colourful - ok you may need your sunglasses!!

I kept the front nice and simple as i had gone overboard on the inside, which reminds me I need to return the little birds i used on the inside to Caz!!! (sorry mate!)

Little Dickie Bird!

Good Day Peeps!!

You may have noticed in my last post that i was "Frogged", i say frogged because when someone accesses your account on Facebook they call it being "Fraped" so i decided that i had been "Frogged"(as in Blogged) all be it a nice one! lol x

In fact Caz was correct in everything she said about herself she has all these qualities but did forget to mention the crazy part which comes out on a daily basis we do at least 3 times a day have a good ole belly laugh which normally results in her crying!!

She cracks us up at work never a dull moment!!

Anyway i have now finally posted a card (shock, horror!) one i made a little while ago for work and yes looking at it looks like the little birdie has a very fancy tail!!

The birdie and butterflies are memory box dies, the flourish is cheery lynn.

For some reason my blogger will not work properly on our main computer we are having probs at the mo with it, may have to accidentally drop the blooming thing!

So can only post now when the laptop is free which is very rare!! Apologies for not visiting all of you hopefully it will be sorted soon.

But let me tell you first about an amazing lady called Caz that I work with, she is soooo funny and kind and I love going to work when she is there, I can not believe that someone can be so funny, talented, kind all in one human being.  She is also very trustworthy, so much so I even gave her my log in details for blogger!

Pretty in Pink

Oh what a glorious morning , oh what a glorious day! LaLaLalalalala everything going my way!!

Where have i been you wonder well not in blog land that's for sure, huge lack of posts sorry but life seems to be busy right now and we have also been on holiday - where does the time go!!!

I did enjoy making this card though with a freebie stamp (can you believe it!) it also came with the sentiment and a few other little stamps to!

I did find it hard to slice into this delish Maja paper it is way too pretty!!

I am suffering from a lack of mojo so any tips will be appreciated! It is probably because we have all this nice weather sprung upon us it makes me want to be outside!

Pretty Dress!

Good Morning!
Oh dear it has been so long i had forgotten how to do all this!
The Shame!!
Hope everyone is well, i have been busy so not a lot of crafting to be had i am afraid and will be off on my hols soon so do not expect to be creating anytime soon :(
But here is a lil card i made last week for create and take at work with the beautiful penny black stamp set Lace Delight , so many wonderful things you could do with this pretty little dress but for this card i left it quite simple after all it is only a create and take so nothing too fancy!
The papers i have used are the very pretty Melissa Frances, not so wishy washy in the flesh but beautiful pastel colours.
There are also some beautiful accessories you really do have to check these out they are gorgeous!

Red white and blue!

Hullo, Hullo,
Surely we can't be in for more rain today!!!!
It really was such a shame for all those people who took part in yesterdays celebrations!!
Those poor singers at the end, they must have flu today , bless them.
Well here is my Red White and Blue contribution,  a quick and easy create and take card for work.
You can just about see, unfortunately the camera hasn't picked it up too well, but i have used the papermania Union Jack embossing folder.
For the bunting i have used the MFT dienamics pennant die and the sentiment from the latest do crafts creativity magazine.

The Best thing to hold onto........

in life is each other!!!
What a beautiful sentiment this is from Penny Black, i made this the main focus of the card for a create and take at work recently.
Rather a simple card using crafts too pansy frame embossing folder accenting the flowers and leaves with pencils and stickles for that added sparkle!!
I've not done much creating of late as you can probably tell - my last post was the 7th May!!
OOH! the shame !!!
I think i will blame it on the weather as soon as the sun comes out you feel like you need to be outside instead of stuck indoors, but i am glad it has turned a little cooler as do not enjoy it when it's humid and stuffy.
Right must dash have washing to hang!

So Cute!!

Good Morning!!
Well i was up with the larks this morning the sun was streaming through my bedroom window it was gorgeous!
Sadly now it is a little bit overcast but i will not let it dampen my day lots of jobs to do today including hoovering the car - it really needs it, where do all the little bits come from!!!

I did decide to do a little bit of creating before everyone got up and i followed a fab sketch from Midnight Madness.
I have used some very old papers, i think they are Crate paper - Sweet branch collection, i love these colours together.
I have inked for the first time one of my fave stamps (yes this is a newbie) LOTV Blossom - so adorable!!
I have used a bit of everything on here really, embossing folder, ms hydrangea punch (invaluable) CB corner die, I cut out in two colours and painstakingly pieced the two together !
Note to oneself DO NOT wear lovely warm fleecy dressing gown with huge cuffs so all the tiny pieces hang themselves from it!!
I do have a question if anybody knows the answer i would be most grateful!!
Where do i find the little bit at the bottom that used to be on posts where you list the items you used, it used to automatically be there! Didn't it?
Maybe it is just me being daft or has it really disappeared!
Just a thought it anyone knows?
Well must stop chatting lots of jobs to do and now i'm sitting here going off the idea - sound familiar? lol x

A Get Well Card!

Hullo,Hullo,
Hope you are all well and managing to get a bit of crafty time to yourselves!
This card seemed to take me an age and was a little overdue for the recipient Mrs Wonka but i am pleased to say once received she loved it!

It was a little get well card for an operation she had not so long ago.
I have used a Pure innocence stamp set called Better get better , i thought it was rather cute, this also comes with a couple of sentiments (not the one on my card)
I have also used MFT border die Faux crochet and matching oval die.
The personalised banner was made using some letter beads which i have had for yonks and a lovely little stamp i got for christmas from Caz

I also decorated the inside for a change, it really makes it that extra special.
Have you any plans for the weekend? for some reason i keep forgetting it's a Bank Holiday probably because the weather is so pants!!!
I am in need of a new frock as i have a wedding to go to, i was searching today, i saw a few but none that will cover my "bingo wings!"
So back to the drawing board - I'm not really a frock person so this is proving somewhat difficult lol!!

Rain Rain Go Away!!!!!

Good Morning!
Well is it ?
Lots and lots of rain, someone really needs to turn the tap off i need some sunshine, a friend of mine is on her hols at the moment and she sure picked the best 2 weeks me thinks!!

Pinks and browns today for my card - i do like these two colours together and i have used a lovely magenta stamp called Butterfly post duo it say's duo so yup that means you get 2 stamps - bargain!!!
I have given it a distressed feel, unfortunately this is probably just about how far i get with distressing as it makes me too distressed it don't come natural to me lol x
I have also used the memory box founded fence these dies are so so nice and delicate i love them all, but BEWARE they are like Pringles once you have one you just can't stop!!

Man Card!

Good Morning , it is lovely and sunny outside at the moment so the washing is blowing in the breeze i shall be making the most of it and will be washing all the bedding!!

Apologies for all the writing at the top of my post as i'm not sure what i have done wrong but it didn't want to go under the photo. Any helpful advice on this would be greatly appreciated, i am sure it is something silly i have missed.

Any how i have made a mans card for this weeks create and take at work and have used the Portobello Road stamps postage/passport and vintage, i have to admit i like all the stamps but when it came to producing a card i did struggle but am rather pleased with how it turned out. I also used a tim holtz brick wall embossing folder.
